Naclis knew she was currently in her Reflection identity, and she didn’t have the ability to sneak into the shadows, so it wasn’t convenient for her to go up with Loren right now. She could only watch as they walked farther and farther away.
And she couldn’t confess either, because confessing would be a truly mortifying social death.
