Chapter 497: Fear Spreads
Since he couldn’t see anything anyway, Loren simply closed his eyes and began sensing with his intuition.
Now that he had the goods in hand, there was no point for Loren to keep tangling with the guards here.
So Loren lit the explosives strapped to his waist.
No matter what, Loren always carried a bundle of explosives at his waist. Even though his strength had been steadily increasing and his magic now surpassed most firearms, he had kept this habit.
He had even developed explosives with far greater power. Loren’s reasoning made sense: magic falls into different series and is easier to trace, but explosives are something anyone can use.
The instant the explosives ignited, Loren activated Void-walking. The explosives fell off his body and hit the ground.
When the guards arrived, all they saw were the explosives, and the warehouse was blown sky-high along with them.
“The guards have Sun-Chasers…”
After creating some distance, Loren deactivated Void-walking. He casually observed the current state of the church: the warehouse had been blown away, its contents strewn everywhere, and the Sun-Chaser had half his body blasted off.
