The next day, the Church prepared a train for Loren. This time, the number of Scarecrows sent for escort was exceptionally large. Not only were there some from the Gedlan Kingdom, but some had even traveled all the way from the Nofica Theocracy.
It's just that compared to other Divine Envoys, Scarecrows are much weaker and don't have any special abilities. So, no matter how many Scarecrows there were, Loren didn't feel much safer.
If a truly powerful individual were to attack Loren, this group of Scarecrows would just be speed bumps.

The Nofica Theocracy was vast. It took Loren and Caroline a long time even when flying, let alone traveling by train. They spent a considerable amount of time on the road.
Fortunately, everyone was traveling in train sleeper compartments. If they had been traveling by carriage, Loren didn't dare imagine how exhausting the journey would have been.
Even so, Scarlett seemed a bit dazed when they got off the train.
