After the meal, Loren brought the magical potions he had brewed to the church. He intended to act now to avoid complications from long delays.
Even Loren wasn't entirely sure when Phoris might come back to kill him, so acting preemptively was the safer course.
In the church's secret chamber, the Bishop was already prepared. Besides him, there were three Scarecrows. This operation wasn't about numbers but about precision.
"This is the Dream Potion. After drinking it, you will enter a pleasant dream. At that time, I will find a way to enter your dreams and guide you to the Forest of Dreams.
"Afterwards, you will cause destruction on the periphery, while I charge in to wreck the interior."
"Master Mentor, won't that be dangerous for you?"
The Bishop voiced his doubt, but his first concern wasn't for himself; it was for Loren.
"Don't worry. I won't do anything I'm not confident about. Moreover, for the sake of the God of Bountiful Harvest, all of this is worth it."
Loren once again raised the banner of a righteous cause, moving the others quite a bit.
