Chapter 323: The Veil of Night
If the God of Dreams was targeting Loren because of the Perpetual Observer, logically, it should have called upon the other gods as well.
The interests and entanglements among the gods are immense, each racking their brains trying to eliminate the others, but the Perpetual Observer is their common taboo. Different gods are all doing their utmost to erase the existence of the Perpetual Observer.

After dealing with the traces, Loren flew back home with Scarlett. It was already deep into the night, and the house was very quiet.
Loren tiptoed back to his own room, afraid of waking the others, only to find everyone except Luna lying on his bed.

Loren lifted the unconscious Scarlett out of the burlap sack and gently placed her in the empty spot on the bed. Then, Loren himself lay down in the very center of the bed. They had even cleared out the spot where Loren usually slept.
