Sister Jian smiled faintly, filled with mockery, "Aunt, you needn’t say this to me anymore; these words should be told to Sister Ran usually. Mother is still waiting. I will go over first. Aunt can stay here; it’s my own matter, aunt won’t defend me when I’m there."

Seeing them enter, Mrs. Dong said nothing, her eyes darkly glaring at them, as if she could eat them alive.
Aunt Lv knelt, "It is my failure for not managing Sister Jian well. Madam knows, I have always been loyal to Madam and would never do such things. Today’s incident at the Zhou Mansion was a misunderstanding. It’s not Sister Jian’s fault."

Mrs. Dong stood up, walked before Sister Wang Juan who hadn’t moved or knelt since entering, approached her face.
