Chapter 307: All out
Blade, filled with so much rage, charged ahead at the warrior, he didn’t believe that aside from Geisha there could be anyone that could stop him here, he was wrong.
The warrior slashed down and Blade blocked, their swords collided and the ground instantly cracked beneath them, a terrifying shockwave ripped through the air, and for a split second it seemed like there was a stalemate, but then Blade suddenly collapsed to his knees, he coughed a huge amount of blood, his eyes filled with disbelief before the summon then kicked him right into the chest and hurled him back through the air, he slammed hard into the ground and rolled for a few meters before finally stopping.
He looked up in disbelief, eyes heavy with shock, and a mouth filled with blood that he fought desperately not to allow leak out of his mouth to shelter what little pride that he could hold onto at the moment.
He clenched his jaw hard and rose to his feet, "arghhhhhhh" he roared and then unleashed a slash that ripped through the air, extremely fast and massive, stronger than the one he had used against Aren, but the summon used a single slash and that was it, he destroyed the attack and then pressed his feet against the ground, launching forward like he was a rocket, his sword pulled back and then he slashed.
Blade looked at the attack, his eyes tracking it as best as he could.
"I’ll not allow you to show me up" he roared and blocked the attack with a back-handed sword stance.
KANG!
The sound was like a bomb had gone off, the shockwave travelled in the direction that the summon had swung and left a massive gash in the land that went as far as the eyes could see.
Blade managed to hold his stance, but a few seconds later he coughed blood again and then staggered backwards, he used the back of his left hand and wiped the blood from his face. With a twisted frown, he summoned a black armor that immediately clung to his body, tight and powerful with the skull of a demon right in the front, his power surged even more after that, he shot forward fast and went for a thrust, the warrior stomped the ground and slashed down, his sword met with the sword of Blade and there was a stalemate for a second, this seemingly powerful soul armor had managed to up his power by a lot.
The air trembled more and more as they stood in position, with waves of shockwaves exploding out, Blade thought that he had genuinely matched the power of this warrior, only for the warrior to suddenly press forward and change that narrative as instantly the stance of Blade was shattered and then he was kicked right in the guts so hard that several ribs cracked despite the armor, his body slammed hard into the ground and rolled for a few meters.
Silver and Trueblood watched what was happening, they knew that they had to save Blade before Aren killed him there, but as they tried to move, Geisha spoke.
"He went after the kid and now killed someone dear to the kid, he has unleashed something that is beyond him, he must face his fate, but as for you two, you’ll not be helping anyone.
All of you went against me and forced my new vessel to unleash a power that I am not sure he will recover from, and this has genuinely pissed me off, so for that you must all suffer and die here." Geisha made it clear.
They both looked at him, only for a massive wave of pure and unfiltered bloodlust to slam into them, they could feel it in their bodies, a powerful dragon with power that surpasses all that they know, he was as terrifying as Aren now, maybe even more.
"Tch, I held my own against the Wargod for a bit, I’m sure I can survive you," Silver said with a sense of pride.
Geisha frowned, "do you really believe that you stand a chance against the Wargod? That human played too much, I guess his playfulness has allowed ants to feel they are strong," Geisha said and then stepped toward Silver.
Silver clapped his hands together and immediately the liquid metal started forming behind him and then it burst out into spikes that curved in every direction, all headed for Geisha.
Geisha swatted them away with one hand and then speed blitzed Silver, grabbing him by the neck before slamming the back of his head hard into the ground full of anger and malice.
Trueblood reacted, she lifted her hands and a massive spike of blood formed, not caring for Silver who would get hit, she hurled it at Geisha.
He looked at the attack, his eyes flashed and he moved, throwing a punch that slammed into the attack and shattered it.
All this time he had been pacing himself and holding himself back just to see how far this would go, but now he was done.
Trueblood had one of the highest battle IQs here, she knew that immediately after her attack was blocked, he would come for an attack, and he did, so she covered herself in a blood dome and when he was about to punch it, spikes shot from the dome, hard and fast enough that one stabbed into the fist of Geisha, but his fist did not stop, it shattered the dome and proceeded to lunge inside to grab her by the neck.
Her face was full of fear in that moment, she looked at the arm around her neck, one squeeze and that would be over, she refused that, she thrust both hands forward and instantly blood spikes formed and rushed at Geisha.
Geisha saw them coming, he kicked the ground and shot into the air with her in his hands, dodging the spikes and then he hurled her into the ground extremely fast, she slammed hard and left a crater.
He turned his head to see Aren, and he was still walking with Kira in his hands, but now he stood before Ironclaw who was on his knees bleeding out, when this had happened, none of them had seen.
