"What is this?!!" Cat lady yelled, struggling desperately with the thick tentacles surrounding her. The appendages were cold and slick."Use your spirit energy!" The fifth Aeon yelled at her, his voice tight with an unfamiliar edge of panic. He flexed his massive muscles, attempting to shatter the bindings through sheer physical supremacy.
"I can’t, Spirit energy didn’t work."
"Then use Divine energy!!" He yelled, as his own pure divine energy burst out from his core, radiating a terrifying crimson light that temporarily created microscopic cracks on the surface of the tentacles holding him.
The Cat lady quickly nodded, her playful demeanor entirely gone. She gritted her fangs and forcefully switched to her divine energy, channeling the absolute power of an Aeon. But to her profound shock, not a single, microscopic crack appeared on the dark tentacles binding her limbs. The appendages simply absorbed her divine output as if she were offering them a meal.
"This?! Impossible, only a Sovereign stage cultivator can hold me down so effortlessly." She muttered, her face turning completely pale as her existential dread set in. Before a true Sovereign stage cultivator, she, despite sitting proudly at the Peak King stage, was nothing but a fragile insect caught in a web.
"You actually are sensible."
The two trapped Aeons sharply turned their heads toward the melodious voice. From the shadows of the ruined tomb, they saw a breathtakingly beautiful lady walking gracefully towards them. A long, spade-tipped demon tail swished lazily behind her, and two leathery, abyssal wings folded neatly against her back. A beautiful, yet chillingly predatory smile rested on her flawless face.
"Who the hell are you?!!" The fifth Aeon yelled at her, desperately trying to mask his terror with rage.
’The hell?!! What type of monster is this? A Sovereign stage?!! This type of powerhouse should be in fourth world, running a city.’ He thought, his understanding of the universe shattering. Earth was supposed to be a newly mutated, backward world; finding a single Sovereign here defied every known law.
"Oh, I am Vespina." Vespina flashed them another charming smile, completely unbothered by his outburst. As she stepped closer, the thick tentacles binding them suddenly split open at the tips, revealing terrifying, jagged mouths aiming hungrily at the two Aeons’ exposed necks.
"Your Vitality would be so delicious." She said, her eyes glowing with demonic gluttony, right as two synchronized voices instantly cut her off from above.
