Chapter 367: The Mirror Of Lightning
Jessica violently spat out the thick, dark blood pooling in her mouth, her limbs trembling as she forced herself to stand up.
’What happened?! I felt something hit me, but my Mythic eye detects nothing.’ She said in profound confusion, her golden third eye spinning erratically as it tried to read the empty air. The absolute impossibility of an attack bypassing her perception was tearing at her sanity.
A few meters away, Mirabella stood like an untouchable sovereign, entirely unbothered by the sheer killing intent bleeding from the Sword Academy’s captain.
’This girl... Thanks to that Heaven thing I ate, all my abilities are above Lv500... For example, my Guardians, before only Lv500 could see them, but how... "Wait... Why do I have to interfere?" She muttered softly to herself, a sudden realization of her own overwhelming status dawning on her, and simply snapped her fingers.
BOOM!
The atmospheric space directly above her violently cracked opened, revealing a tear, entirely stunning everyone in the heavily reinforced coliseum. Jessica’s eyes widened in sheer shock.
’A summoning?’
From the jagged spatial crack, a small, fluffy white winged cat tumbled out and fell freely. The exact moment her tiny paws hit the hard arena ground, Cupcake’s bright eyes snapped opened, completely devoid of any killing intent.
’Huh? Where am I? Shouldn’t I be sleeping in the golden Palace?’ Cupcake thought in sleepy confusion, missing the boundless spirit energy of Mirabella’s inner world, and turned her head to look up at Mirabella:
"Huh? Why? I was enjoying myself." Cupcake grumbled lazily, stretching her small wings.
Mirabella reached into her inventory, brought out a piece of brightly wrapped candy, and slowly unwrapped it, the crinkling sound echoing absurdly loud in the tense silence: "Deal with her and go back to sleep." She said, casually placing the candy in her mouth, and started chewing.
