Galaxy Fall: All My Skills Are Maxed

Chapter 224: The World Chosen

The Nine stood frozen, their eyes wide open, staring at the smoking land around them. The once-lush Southern Region had been reduced to a scorched wasteland of glass and ash by the sheer magnitude of Mirabella’s combined skills. The devastating silence of the aftermath was heavy. Slowly, they turned to Mirabella, watching as she sat down cross-legged amidst the residual static of annihilation magic, and closed her eyes to channel the incoming surge.

Next moment:

[Gained 20,000 EXP from Team Kills.]

[Gained 10,000 EXP from Team Kills.]

[Gained 50,000 EXP from Team Kills.]

[Gained 5,000 EXP from Team Kills.]

[Gained 2,000 EXP from Team Kills.]

[Gained 100 EXP from Team Kills....]

Countless notifications sounded in their heads, a cascading waterfall of system chimes. Before their stunned gazes, their levels started jumping, their energy pools forcibly expanding as the world processed the astronomical massacre of over two thousand entities.

Hitachi, David, Carl, and the rest quickly followed Mirabella’s action, sitting on the ground. Their bodies trembled under the hydrostatic pressure of raw leveling energy, desperately trying to stabilize the excessive amount of experience points filling them up.

Mirabella opened her eyes, looking at them over her shoulder: ’This isn’t right.’

She turned her head to the battlefield, observing the intricate mechanics of the loot distribution. She was watching as all the monster cards—the physical essence of the fallen beasts—shattered into energy light, and flew into her body, which was then seamlessly transmitted to all her teammates through an invisible, golden tether.

’System?! What’s happening here?’ She asked in disbelief.

{Host, This is the Hidden skill granted by the third bloodline: World Chosen.}

’So this skill can directly help my teammates absorb energy from Monster cards?’

{Correct Host.}

’Hey! Won’t it affect my growth?!!’ Mirabella snapped Inwardly, her pragmatic survivor instincts immediately flaring up.

{No worries, Host. You will gain 70% of the experience points gained, and the remaining 30% will be transferred to all teammates, note: This rate only applies when Host kill more than 50% of the enemies forces.}

’This is annoying, what if I can’t kill that many?’

{Then It will be 50-50.}

’No bad... It’s actually a good thing.’ Mirabella looked over her shoulder at her teammates, whose levels started jumping higher. The strategic advantage of having a universally buffed vanguard suddenly outweighed her initial greed.

’With this skill, even if they kill one monster, I will gain 50% of the experience points, not a bad thing.’ She stood up, spreading her arms wide, embracing the rush of the system’s blessing:

’We will be going to Earth soon, this skill will make me invincible! I will break Lv400 threshold, and become a peak god level.’ She smiled, as her levels started increasing in a rapid, unstoppable sequence.

{Leveling Up...}

{Level Up.} X20

{Current Level: Lv350.}

’Impressive... I actually jumped 20 whole levels, those world Bosses must be powerful.’ She thought, staring at the sky, a satisfied smile on her face.

"We already won."

BOOM!!!

Nine beams of light shot out from the nine behind her, piercing through the lingering smoke and shooting into the sky. The pillars of energy signified major breakthroughs. Mirabella turned towards her team, and walked towards Carl, crouching before him as his aura fluctuated violently against a hard level-cap.

’Lv60... You will need Awakening stones to enter Lv70, 500 stones at that.’ The rigid laws of progression dictated that raw experience wasn’t enough; physical catalysts were required to evolve a player’s core. She turned her head to David, who quickly opened his eyes, and brought out a leather pouch, heavily enchanted and filled with 500 awakening stones. He poured the shining stones before him, and closed his eyes, his spirit energy veins flaring as he quickly began absorbing it.

Just like him, Austin, Casey and Aurelia brought out one thousand awakening stones, the dense, starlight-infused minerals clattering on the scorched earth. They were natives of the Empires, backed by resources and lineages, getting ready to become God level fighters.

Mirabella slowly nodded her head, and turned to Kent, and Precious. Just like Carl, they were from Earth. They were stranded in this sprawling, lethal universe, so they had no single awakening stone with them to help them advance to Lv70 plus. The economic disparity of Galaxy Fall was absolute.

’Should I?’ She thought, opening her spatial interface and staring at the staggering one billion awakening stones resting in her storage—a hoard large enough to fund an entire imperial academy.

’The system gave me this when I received that stupid title... But.’ She moved her gaze on Kent and Precious, evaluating their loyalty and potential utility as assets.

’What will I gain helping these two?’ She thought for a moment, weighing the politics of leadership, and exhaled:

’They won’t be ungrateful, right?’ She waved her hand, manipulating her inventory. Instantly, 500 awakening stones materialized and clattered to the ground before Kent, Precious and Carl.

Feeling the new, dense energy radiating from the catalyst stones, the three opened their eyes in surprise, staring at Mirabella in profound shock. They were already thinking of desperate ways to break through without awakening stones, which was 100% impossible unless they had a master-tier cheat system like Mirabella’s.

They were about to give up the idea of leveling up entirely, intending to leave the remaining energies for those who needed it, but now... The three nodded gratefully at Mirabella, words failing them. They closed their eyes, continued absorbing the energies, and successfully shattered their limiters, breaking through to Lv70.

Mirabella turned to Carl, calculating the sheer volume of untapped potential: ’There are still thousands of Monster Cards in Carl’s storage, with these awakening stones, I can get him to Lv200 in no time.’

She stood upright, the aura of a true sovereign settling around her, and walked towards the edge of the blasted hill. ’I don’t know if these awakening stones were given to me by the system or by this Great King, but...’ She lowered her gaze to the ground, staring at the burnt bodies of monsters, but her gaze was fixed on the premium loot hovering above the ash. There was even a golden scroll, clearly a legendary class skill scroll radiating ancient magic.

’I will use these awakening stones and build up my force! Great King, if you’re the one who helped me with this, I will surely thank you. But being your bride? You should Forget that dream.’
