Magma Dragon's Heir

Afterward

Thanks for giving this book a shot, I hope you enjoyed it.

The journey, which I hope you found pleasant, has been both fun and stressful for me, and now it has reached its conclusion. I've learned a lot from the experience; one of the things being that you shouldn't write two books that have one protagonist act as a hidden protagonist of the other. That's the main thing, really.

As for the ending, it's hard to do right. I've read only a handful of completed books, and I read a lot, thinking it was just right. The end is either rushed, or drags on, or too many people die, or too few, or the author pulls something from their arse and everything is suddenly cheery and nobody really died ever. I think I did it right, again, from my own perspective, but that's hard to say, as it depends on the reader's preferences...

So, where do we go from here? Because I like his story, Newt goes to polishing in about half a year, once I have more time. I'll decouple his story from Dandelion's, edit and then publish on Amazon, most likely as a self-pub, but I might knock on a couple publishers' doors, haven't decided yet. The story is unfortunately getting stubbed beyond chapter 1 or 2 because of an issue pointed out by the website moderators. I admit, I could resolve it cleaner by searching all chapters for the content they listed as an infraction and delete it, but I don't have five hours, probably more, to waste like that.

Stolen story; please report.

If you liked this story, I have another one ongoing, about a morally upright young man in a world facing chaos and trying times. You can read it here - https://www.NovelFire.com/fiction/154133/in-living-memory-paladin-time-loop-progression. If you're interested, there's also Dandelion's story such as it is, you can read it here - https://www.NovelFire.com/fiction/125736/dandelion-a-mageknight-reincarnation-litrpg-progression.

I hope you get to read a lot of good books,

P.S. There's an epilogue if you hit the back button, in case you missed it.
