Q&A | Volumes 1-3 ‘Recap’
As requested on a comment for the first chapter of this ongoing Volume 4, an attempt was made at creating a recap/story-so-far for the previous three volumes. The immediate difficulty I encountered is that, as I have since learned, it appears I cannot go three paragraphs without worrying about whether readers might have forgotten an explanation or definition and therefore taking the time to explain or define that again instead of actually recapping the events. Truth be told, I have no idea which parts people may have forgotten.
So, as a compromise, I offer you this, because I recognize my unplanned break was legitimately long enough that it would be surprising if readers didn't forget at least some stuff. Ask away.

Did you forget what something was? A concept, a character, a thing? Somebody's storyline? Places or lore? Ask. Do you need me to remind you about an event or something? Are you confused about literally anything about the story so far? Ask. So long as it's something that's already happened/been shown and/or could reasonably be extrapolated from public chapters, I will answer to the best of my ability.
I assure you I tried my best at a recap, but considering how last time I tried to force myself to push through a meta 'chapter' like this left me accidentally spoiling Theo's origins all the way back in Volume 1 (because some at the time apparently hadn't made the connection despite my intentions), I would rather not risk it.
