Bai Yushuang suddenly pounced, flipping the quilt off and nearly causing Bai Yuxue to scream in fright.

"TSK!"

However, upon seeing her sister clearly under the quilt, it was Bai Yushuang who let out a disappointed hiss.

"Then what should we do? Find a chance to return them?"

"We can't just return them."

Bai Yuxue shook her head. After pondering for a moment, she said softly, "We need to do two things.

"First, we have to find a way to get today's recordings. This will prove the Gao family forced our eldest sister to entertain guests and prevent Gao Shen from pinning the blame on her.

"Second, we need to trick Gao Shen into admitting he had ulterior motives for giving us those gifts. Then, we can use that as a pretext to openly fall out with him, immediately return all the gifts, and record his admission as evidence.

"If we accomplish these two things, our eldest sister will be in an unbeatable position in her divorce proceedings."

"Wow! You're so devious!"

Bai Yushuang excitedly hugged her younger sister, wriggling against her gleefully.

Bai Yuxue replied calmly, her voice cool, "I can't sleep. I was going to work on my graduation project for a bit. Why are you still up, Uncle Gao?"

Gao Diaomao blustered and then hurried downstairs.

Bai Yuxue continued on. As she passed Han Lie's guest room, her expression unchanging, she suddenly heard a few faint meows from inside.

She immediately knew what Gao Diaomao had been up to.

She spat quietly and, still feeling the flush incited by Bai Yushuang, walked briskly toward the study.

When calling out twice brought no response, he grew impatient.

Upon opening the door, he found his father staring at the computer screen.

"Dad?! What are you doing?"

"Panicking like this? What kind of behavior is that?"

Gao Diaomao scowled at him, then beckoned. "Come here and see for yourself."

Gao Shen hurried behind the desk and glanced at the screen. His mind instantly went blank.

In the video, Bai Yuqiu emerged from the guest room. Leaning against the wall, looking weak and drained, she slowly made her way upstairs. As she walked, she quickly wiped her eyes, then covered her mouth, her shoulders trembling as she staggered onward.

"That son of a bitch slept with my wife?!"

Gao Shen completely lost his composure. His face flushed crimson with rage, veins pulsed on his forehead, and his jaw was clenched so tightly it looked distorted.

"Motherfucker! Where is he? Is he still in our house? Call the police! Call them right now! Arrest him!"

"Shut up!"
