Chapter 516 - 503: Pregnant
Tang Zi nodded with satisfaction. The four chatted for a while before going their separate ways to sleep.
Qin Yun took An Yueqian to the guest room. An Yueqian patted her chest, "Yunyun, your brother is a bit intimidating when he gets serious."
Qin Yun nodded, "Indeed, it’s the first time I’ve seen him this serious."
An Yueqian envied her, "I also wish I had a brother."
Although Tang Zi seemed a bit stern, having such a protective brother is really a plus, right?
Qin Yun smiled, "My brother is your brother. Didn’t he just say that you can find him if you need anything in the future?"
An Yueqian nodded firmly, "I think that’s a good idea."
Qin Yun found the toiletries and placed them in the bathroom for An Yueqian. An Yueqian then made a video call to An Chengjin, and they chatted for quite a while. Seeing Qin Yun there, An Chengjin was overjoyed and pulled Qin Yun into the conversation for a while.
When she left An Yueqian’s room, more than twenty minutes had passed.

Tang Zi, hearing the commotion, came out of his room and saw Pei Yan carrying the fainted Qin Yun. He was startled and immediately followed, asking, "What happened?"
"She fainted, no idea why."
Tang Zi said seriously, "I’ll get the car, let’s go to the hospital right away."
An Yueqian also opened her door and saw them rushing out with Qin Yun. Realizing something was wrong, she quickly followed.
Tang Zi drove, An Yueqian in the passenger seat contacting the hospital, while Pei Yan held Qin Yun in his arms, his fingertips turning white from the pressure.
"Pei Yan, it’ll be okay."
Tang Zi called Pei Yan several times, but Pei Yan didn’t respond at all. Tang Zi was scared too, flooring the pedal and speeding down the road. A drive that usually took about twenty minutes was done in ten.
The doctor they’d contacted had already prepared everything at the hospital entrance. As soon as Pei Yan stepped out with Qin Yun in his arms, they were rushed into the emergency room.
Pei Yan was left outside the emergency room.
Watching the glaring red light, his eyes gradually reddened, his expression dark.
He took out his phone and called Zheng Qian, "Contact Jingjing’s company. From today onward, I don’t want to see this person in any sector."
Zheng Qian, still managing online affairs, was startled by this request, "Didn’t you say...?"
"Just do as I say. Don’t worry about it."
"Yes."
Zheng Qian sensed something was off with Pei Yan’s mood and cautiously asked, "Did something happen?"
Pei Yan paused, his voice light, "Qin Yun fainted and was taken into the emergency room."
He hung up the phone, leaning against the hospital wall, his expression dejected.
Tang Zi came over, patting his shoulder.
While An Yueqian was pacing non-stop in front of the emergency room, nervously watching the light’s status.
Everything around fell silent, suffocatingly heavy.
Twenty minutes later, the emergency room door opened, and the emergency doctor came out. All three immediately surrounded them.
"How is she?"
"How’s my sister?"
"Is she okay now?"
The three watched the emergency doctor nervously.
The doctor sighed in relief and shook his head, "She’s fine, the patient has been overworked recently, leading to her body’s inability to cope, which caused the fainting. How could you let a pregnant woman get so exhausted?"
The doctor looked at the three disapprovingly.
They froze in place.
Tang Zi was the first to react, grabbing the doctor’s hand excitedly, "What did you say?"
The doctor glanced at him, frowned, "I said the patient is pregnant and shouldn’t be so overworked."
Tang Zi muttered, "Pregnant? Really pregnant?"
Pei Yan also snapped back to reality, his eyes trembling wildly, "You said she’s pregnant?"
How could it be...
Pei Yan’s fingertips trembled; he wanted to do something to confirm what he heard wasn’t wrong, but his body wasn’t cooperating.
The doctor looked at the three suspiciously, "Yes, the patient is pregnant. You, as her family, didn’t know?"
Pei Yan finally calmed down, nodding, "We know now."
An Yueqian incredulously slapped her face hard, "Yunyun is pregnant?"
Really pregnant?
The doctor nodded, "Yes, she’s pregnant, almost six weeks along."
"Can I go in to see her?"
Pei Yan heard his own voice trembling. His legs moved toward the emergency room door as if on their own.
The doctor said, "The patient is coming out soon; let’s go to the ward."
Qin Yun was pushed out. She groggily opened her eyes, seeing Pei Yan looking at her worriedly, and asked in confusion, "What’s wrong? Why are you all looking at me like that?"

Tang Zi’s mind was filled with only one thought: he’s soon going to be an uncle, and soon there’ll be a little one calling him uncle, hugging his leg, hanging onto him, running around the house with him, never staying still.
Thinking about it makes him feel excited.

Tang Zi said excitedly and took out his phone, heading toward the fire escape.

Qin Yun grabbed Pei Yan’s hand and earnestly asked, "I want to have twins."

Pei Yan never expected he’d have children so soon.
