771. The Parasitic Worm's Adventure

Borrowing the power of some existence, the parasitic worm used its mouthparts to gnaw through the road surface and burrow deep into the road, wanting to chew out an escape tunnel from the subway tunnel.

After gnawing for about a few dozen meters, the parasitic worm once again dug into a hollow space.

This time, it didn't fall directly into the hollow but instead wedged itself inside the burrow.

Inside the hollow was an artificial groundwater channel, somewhat resembling the city's sewer system.

Murky, turbid liquid flowed through the channel, filled with a massive pile of waste materials in different colors and textures.

On both sides of the channel were two five-meter-wide gray stone slab paths, while the channel itself was over a dozen meters wide and bottomless.

The parasitic worm curiously looked around, unsure of where this place was or whether it should enter.
