“Should I go close the window?”
Jeffrey whispered in Lin Ye’s ear.
The thick fog represented danger. He didn’t think they could afford to just wait like this.
“Not yet. If the fog was poisonous, we’d already be dead. We should worry more about what’s hiding inside the fog.”
If something had opened the window, it had likely already spotted them, yet it hadn’t come in.
