Chapter 610: Utility pole
The vision of this body was average, so Lin Ye moved closer before realizing that the two figures were definitely not the D-Class personnel who had set out earlier. Instead, they were two unfamiliar women wearing orange prison uniforms and helmets. They were waving towards Lin Ye and his companion, but their gazes weren't focused on them.
"This isn't right, is it? We watched them walk over here, and they never left our field of vision. How could they turn into two women?"
Number 4, following behind Lin Ye, spoke nervously.
"It's definitely not right."
Lin Ye didn't continue to approach because the two women seemed to have noticed them and were starting to move towards them.
"Should we go back? Wait, no! Those overseers are gone!"
Number 4 turned his head and discovered that the overseers behind them had all disappeared.
Lin Ye also looked back. He noticed the prison transport vehicle was still parked in place; only the overseers were missing.
"Great! We can drive out of here!"
