Chapter 579: Teaching Building
Phoebe did not accept Lin Ye's suggestion. She approached the classroom's back door and peered through the glass to check the situation in the corridor.
There lay a horrifically mangled corpse, barely recognizable as human. Judging by the clothing, it should have been a student from here.
There was only one corpse in the corridor, with nothing else present. The previous footsteps had all vanished.
Phoebe opened the back door and quickly ran toward the staircase at one end of the corridor. Her speed was impressive, a result of her training.
"Taking the stairs? That's not a good idea."
Lin Ye reminded her.
Phoebe still did not reply. She rushed down the stairs, skipping several steps with each stride, but she soon stopped because she had already descended three floors, yet stairs continued to lead downward.
The teaching building did not have an underground parking lot.
Faced with this situation, she could only stop rather than continue descending the stairs.
