Chapter 383: A Short Cruise Trip
"You can each pick one item. Coming all this way, you should bring some loot back. But don't take more than one, or you might get entangled with this cruise ship."
Lin Ye said magnanimously.
"Is that okay?"
Ayla looked excitedly at the surrounding collection.
"Yes, everyone present gets a share."
Lin Ye activated the Portal with spatial energy, then moved the three unconscious teammates onto the portal.
"Then I want that black stone."
Ayla quickly chose her target.
"I think that dagger looks good."
Kama also selected the item she wanted. "Good, let's go."
Lin Ye used spatial energy to move those two items to the two girls. After they received the items, they passed through the Portal together with the other three.
Before entering the portal, Lin Ye attempted to use his remaining spatial energy to open a spatial passageway leading back to the Shelter. He couldn't return directly, after all, his consciousness was still in this body. If he didn't complete the simulation task, he wasn't sure what would happen.
But he could send these collected items back to the Shelter.
However, before he could even open the passage, a line of system notification appeared before his eyes:
[Warning, Survivor, please cease your current action, otherwise you will face the system's conventional counterattack]
'Damn!'
Lin Ye hurriedly stopped his action. He definitely didn't want to be casually eliminated by the system as an intruder.
Dying from invading his own Shelter would probably become one of the top ten hilarious causes of death among Survivors.
'The Shelter actually has spatial defense systems... Then I can only transfer the assets overseas first. Hope it doesn't disturb her.'
Lin Ye opened a spatial passageway and teleported all the items from the storage room to where Little Ye was.
After finishing, Lin Ye closed the passage and left the Abandoned Cruise Ship through the portal.
On the other side of the portal was also a cruise ship. They were currently standing on the Deck, with a smiling attendant in work clothes standing beside them.
"Hello, please present your Boat Ticket."
"Didn't bring it. You're not going to throw me overboard, are you?"
Although he had no memory, Lin Ye could roughly guess what had happened back then.
Lin Ye's eyes flickered slightly as he used the Abyssal Eye to scan his surroundings.
The cruise ship was sailing on a dark red sea. Here, even the sky was red. In the distance, only a dark red expanse was visible, with no discernible horizon line between sea and sky.
A middle-aged man dressed in luxurious formal attire suddenly appeared before Lin Ye. Appearing simultaneously were Little Red and a man wearing captain's attire.
The entire Red Sea began to shake violently. Massive waves lifted the cruise ship into the air.
"Enough. Don't drag the cruise ship into the issues between you. He is now a guest of the cruise ship. Do you want to die on board?"
The captain looked at the man, placing his hand on the weapon at his waist.
"He doesn't have a Boat Ticket. The cruise ship wants to protect him?"
Lin Ye had finally managed to run into his territory. The man was unwilling to give up just like that.
"He has a Boat Ticket, he just didn't bring it with him."
The captain stared at the man, ready to act at any moment.
"... The cruise ship is supposed to remain neutral, isn't it? Are you sure the cruise ship wants to interfere in the matter between him and me?"
Massive islands began gathering around the cruise ship. They were actually enormous Flesh-and-blood Creatures.
"You want to kill him. He will definitely summon that Abyssal Evil God over. This is the Red Sea. Are you sure you want to bring that one here? When that happens, no one will be able to escape."
The captain glanced at Lin Ye's right eye. If not for this troublesome eye, they could have tried to quickly eliminate Lin Ye, preventing that one from coming.
"... Hmph, I hope your luck remains this good forever."
After saying this, the man disappeared. Those gathered giant Flesh-and-blood Creatures also sank back into the Red Sea.
Little Red stood beside Lin Ye, holding a little dog covered in eyeballs. The little dog waved its front paws excitedly, greeting Lin Ye.
This little dog seemed to be something Lin Ye had created back in that Falling Space, but now it appeared much smarter than before.
Lin Ye patted the dog's head. Little Red also reached out and patted Lin Ye's head.
"Troubling you again this time."
Lin Ye lowered his head, accepting Little Red's intimate gesture. Ever since connecting to the divine seat, he had indeed been troubling her frequently.
"It's fine. I just happened to want to come out for a walk anyway."
Little Red, holding the little dog, walked towards the Ship Interior. The attendant, with a fawning smile, led the way beside them.
Lin Ye hurriedly gathered his companions and followed behind Little Red. He didn't want to watch the attendant throw these companions, who had barely managed to escape, into the Red Sea later.
The captain did not stop them, merely leaning quietly against the railing, watching Lin Ye's departing figure.
The attendant led them into a pale purple corridor. On both sides of the corridor were rows of doors. Just looking at the materials of the corridor and doors, one could tell this place was definitely very high-end.
The doors did not have room numbers. Instead, they were engraved with simple patterns.
The attendant stopped before a door engraved with flower petals, opened it, and then respectfully invited Little Red to enter the room.
Only after Lin Ye and the others entered the room did the attendant gently close the door.
The interior of the room was as large as a small library, with three floors. Inside the room, one could find all the daily necessities Lin Ye could think of.
One side of the room was a three-story-high transparent glass wall. Outside the glass was the red seawater. Some Red Sea creatures curiously looked at the humanoid figures inside the glass.
"Wow, watching Red Sea creatures up close. This is too luxurious. Even the Imperial Academy doesn't offer such treatment."
Ayla pressed against the glass, staring face-to-face with a Red Sea creature that had its mouth open.
"It's nothing special. I've even swum in the Red Sea before. I'm tired of seeing Red Sea creatures. I'd rather go see other seas."
Lin Ye occasionally went to the Rest Area to practice swimming.
"Will this cruise ship pass by our Plane?"
Compared to looking at those Red Sea creatures that wanted to bite their heads off, Kama cared more about when they could go home.
"I'll ask for you."
Lin Ye picked up the communication device nearby and contacted the ship's service staff.
"In half an hour, the cruise ship will stop at those guests' Plane for five minutes. In one hour, the cruise ship will stop at the Plane where your current body is located for five minutes. Please disembark under the guidance of the staff. Do you have any other needs?"
Before Lin Ye could even speak, the attendant on the other end answered the question he was about to ask.
"Can you prepare a fish head hot pot for me? The kind that can be eaten normally."
Lin Ye still remembered his previous agreement with Ayla.
"Do you have any specific taste preferences?"
The attendant was clearly more interested in preparing lunch.
Taking into account the others' tastes, Lin Ye simply stated his requirements. Soon, the attendant knocked on the door, pushing a dining cart.
"Red Sea creature fish heads are really delicious..."
After finishing the freshly caught Red Sea fish heads, Ayla licked her lips and sighed.
The pot was still boiling with prepared fish heads, fish meat, and other side dishes. These Red Sea fish heads had no small bones, making them very convenient to eat.
The fish heads were simply boiled in clear water. The attendant had prepared various seasonings;
one could choose their preferred flavor.
