Lin Ye had experienced this many times in simulation missions, but this was the first time it happened to his actual body.

A group of charging staff members hadn't even made it out of the corridor before being stabbed through their vital points by spiritual energy blades from behind, their corpses piling up in the hallway.

"Do you know who we're working for?"
The female receptionist trembled as she looked at Lin Ye. She wasn't much stronger than those corpses in the corridor, so she could only try to communicate with him.

Lin Ye casually set up several rune traps at the entrance before walking deeper into the massage parlor. Time was limited, otherwise he could have chatted with her a bit more.
A spiritual energy blade stabbed through the female receptionist's vital points from behind. She wanted to say they did, but it seemed too ridiculous to claim, so the words never left her mouth. Using compressed spiritual energy, he blasted open the hidden door leading to the underground space. A cold corridor appeared before Lin Ye's eyes.
In the corridor stood a slicked-back young man wearing a dark green suit—the person in charge here and the only surviving cultist in the establishment.
This was a third-tier spiritual energy user infinitely close to reaching the fourth tier.
"If you're here to cause trouble for this cult, perhaps we can talk. Actually, I don't have much connection with this cult."
The young man held a green card in his hand, feeling extremely unlucky. He had just arrived and become the person in charge of this cult stronghold. Although he was also a cultist, he wasn't the same type as these bug-handling fanatics.
Before he could even settle into his position, he found himself trapped underground by a seemingly terrifyingly powerful second-tier spiritual energy user. He couldn't use spiritual or mental energy, only possessing a green skill card with decent power but difficult to actually hit anyone with.
Lin Ye very directly stabbed the young man with a spiritual energy blade from behind. Just as he prepared to follow up with a full version of his Shotgun Blade technique, he discovered the young man was already dead from the first stab.

It wasn't until Lin Ye saw the green card in the young man's hand that he understood what had happened.

Lin Ye pocketed the card and pushed open the operating room door. An overwhelming metallic scent of blood flooded his nostrils. In the dim operating room, a middle-aged man with a beer belly lay sleeping on the surgical table.
A blissful smile spread across his face, drool dripping onto the operating table.
Lin Ye ignored him and instead pushed aside the full-length mirror attached to one wall of the operating room, revealing a staircase leading to the second underground level.
The second basement level was an underground space covering a full hundred square meters, filled with numerous half-human, half-insect monsters. At the center of the space grew a white insect tree, its base surrounded by piles of dismembered corpses, its branches covered with white insects.
With five seconds remaining in the one-minute countdown, Lin Ye threw the spiritual energy blade he had been compressing, shaping, and inscribing with runes since the countdown began into the underground space.
Boom!
The spiritual energy blade struck the insect tree's main trunk with precise accuracy. The tree pulled up its roots trying to escape the violent spiritual energy, but under the influence of various runes, uprooting itself not only failed to escape the explosion radius but instead caused its roots to be shredded along with the rest of it.
Only after the explosion completely subsided did Lin Ye enter the underground space, retrieving a pink card from the insect tree's remains.

Massive amounts of spiritual energy surged into Lin Ye's body, flowing freely through him. Without mental energy restraints, the spiritual energy automatically permeated throughout his entire being.
At first, Lin Ye worried about bodily Alienation, but since absorbing the God's Blood, his body had become incredibly stable, showing no signs of Alienation whatsoever.

Even if he couldn't use runes to manipulate external spiritual energy, Lin Ye could still use the spiritual energy within his body combined with martial arts to deal with ordinary spiritual energy users.
Just as Lin Ye was stretching and moving his body, he received a message.
"Teacher, several men in black suits broke into the fast food restaurant trying to capture us. We've escaped and are currently running through the streets."

Lin Ye used spiritual energy to stimulate the middle-aged man lying on the operating table before leaving the massage parlor.
Considering the Precinct might be compromised, he didn't want the man to see his face. The massage parlor's surveillance equipment had already been casually destroyed by him earlier.
As for those technicians, they would have to be handed over to the Precinct. He could only hope there were still normal people within the Precinct.
