Adventurer was never a term that the Trial System used. That had come after the war. Trialists were the true term for the Earthers who had gained their powers through the Trial System. The real face of Trials were brutal, they tested bonds of friendship and encouraged people to break them for more power.
The worst of the Instant Trials weren't supposed to be in the lower sectors. They always lurked in the highest areas, hidden deep away where the world couldn't judge them. Where the stakes were highest and people attempted to push their very limits.
Sometimes, very rarely, they appeared in the lower sectors. Reminding the world that the Trial System had never cared for a peaceful world.
