Chapter 731 - 732: Encirclement and Pursuit
"Am I your biological son or not?"
"Of course, I raised you this big, didn't I? If you weren't my biological son, I would've kicked you into the ocean ages ago!" Nicholas' dad left him no dignity.
Nicholas pouted, "Since I'm your biological son, hurry up and come get us. We've taken down the Sakura Sect but pissed off the Kongshan Group. You know how terrifying they are; if you don't dare come, I might die. Then you'll be without a son!"
"You've got a point there." Nicholas' dad pondered, "But comparing you to my private jet, I think the jet's more important. Handle the mess you've made yourselves. You're all adults, stop relying on me."
"Damn it! If I die, who's going to take care of you in your old age?!"
"Bah! I'll try hard and have a few more sons next year, who needs you!" Nicholas' dad hung up the phone directly.
Listening to their conversation, it doesn't sound like father and son at all, more like natural enemies!
Huzi patted Nicholas on the shoulder, "Don't be mad, everyone together will think of a solution!"
"If I can make it back alive, I'll definitely sever ties with that old man! Definitely!" Nicholas' lips twitched hard, he finally had a chance to shine among his brothers, and now he was shamed by his dad. How could he not be angry!
Liu Zixuan chuckled, "Alright, your dad has his reasons too. He's right; we caused this trouble, so we have to clean it up!"
"Zixuan, we're being followed!" It was then Gu Yu exclaimed, eyes on the computer.
Liu Zixuan raised an eyebrow, glanced back, and saw a Jinbei van closely tailing them, headlights glaring like it was about to crash into them.
"There's one ahead too!" Mo Chengfeng said, staring at the intersection up front.
Liu Zixuan spoke to Mo Chengfeng and Zhao Yi, "I'll handle the car, soon as you open the door at the next intersection, take out the one ahead, and I'll shake off the folks behind!"
"Okay!"
Mo Chengfeng held the steering wheel and stood up, while Liu Zixuan quickly jumped into the driver's seat, and Mo Chengfeng sat next to Gu Yu.
Liu Zixuan stepped on the accelerator, ignoring the red light, dashed through, and swung the steering wheel abruptly to dodge the Jinbei van just as it was about to crash into them.
At that moment, Zhao Yi opened the car door, and with the Celestial Spirit Saber, dispatched the Jinbei van's driver in one stroke!
The Jinbei van lost control, teetering as it crashed into the curb!
"The road on the right leads to Main City Road!" Mo Chengfeng said, looking at the computer.
Liu Zixuan nodded, turned the car toward Main City Road, and soon two Jinbei vans had caught up from behind.
"Take the second left up ahead into Main City Road," Mo Chengfeng instructed.
"Where does going straight lead?" Liu Zixuan asked, eyeing the road.
"It's an abandoned road that used to lead outside the city, but it's been discontinued, and surveillance was dismantled, specifics aren't known," Mo Chengfeng replied after some manipulation.
"They're chasing us like mad dogs, let's find a place and deal with them!" Liu Zixuan accelerated toward the abandoned road.
As Mo Chengfeng said, it's become overgrown due to abandonment, everything besides the faint view of the road is blurry.
"Get ready, once we're out, we engage directly. This is Kongshan Group territory, their reinforcements will arrive swiftly!" Liu Zixuan said solemnly.
"Got it!" Everybody nodded in unison.
A few minutes later, Liu Zixuan slammed the brake and sharply turned the steering wheel left, halting the car horizontally on the road!
The same four people exited the car together.
The two Jinbei vans stopped not far from their car, and a dozen Kongshan Group martial artists armed to the teeth got out.
The last one who came over took out a phone and shouted, "Elder, they're by the abandoned city road."
After finishing the call, he and his group surrounded Liu Zixuan and the others.
"They're formidable, don't act rashly, I've informed the elder, he'll be here soon!" The man who made the phone call instructed the martial artists beside him.
Liu Zixuan's eyes tightened, the Nameless Sword appeared in his hand; a swift battle seemed like the best plan!
"Attack!"
With the command, Liu Zixuan and the four wasted no time pulling out their signature moves, lunging at the martial artists.
While attacking, it was clear those martial artists were no match for Liu Zixuan and the others, but they were retreating, clearly stalling for time!
But Liu Zixuan wouldn't give them such an opportunity!
The Nameless Sword, with each swing and fall, elicited cries of agony wherever it reached!
A dozen martial artists were dispatched by Liu Zixuan and the others in just two minutes!
"Get in the car!"
Liu Zixuan saw headlights approaching from the intersection they just came from and hurriedly urged everyone to get back in the car.
Regardless of the road ahead, they headed straight out of town.
"Watch out, there's a big pit up front!" Gu Yu suddenly shouted under the high beam lights.
But by then it was too late to stop, Liu Zixuan clenched his teeth, mashed the gas pedal, and steered toward a nearby high slope.
The car abruptly took off at the slope's angle, soaring into the sky!
The six passengers felt their breath catch, knowing any miscalculation here would mean certain death!
Bang!
Thud!
A few tense seconds later, the car landed heavily, luckily dodging the catastrophe they feared.
"We're out of the city!" Mo Chengfeng observed, loosening a breath.
"Though we're out, I sense the trouble isn't over," Liu Zixuan suddenly gestured forward.
The group all looked ahead, spotting at an intersection outside the city, four Jinbei vans identical to the previous ones waiting!
Gu Yu's lips twitched, "Damn these bastards, how many are there?"
Liu Zixuan chuckled wryly, "What we did is as troublesome as poking a hornet's nest, how could they let us off so easily?"
"If we must fight, let's do it," Zhao Yi gripped the Celestial Spirit Saber, fearlessly smiling, "Every Witch Country guy we take down is a win."
As they approached those four Jinbei vans, Liu Zixuan parked the car, "The same four of us will disembark. If we can't finish them off, Cheng Feng and Gu Yu, you take the chance and drive away!"
