Just as Damien was about to land the first strike, the rat king, sensing the intruders, instantly it let out a terrifying sound
SKREEEEEE!
The screech was a warning sound, displaying it’s annoyance and anger to those who had invaded it’s abode.
In anger, It slammed into to the ground, shaking of the tens of thousands of rats around it.
A movement that made the ocean of fur below them erupt.
*BOOM!*
Following the command of their leader, ten thousand Abyss Rats scrambled over each other, a tide of grey and black bodies rushing toward the Damien and Isabelle, their eyes glowing red with unbound ferocity.
They climbed with unnatural speed, their claws screeching against the metal, a tidal wave of teeth ascending from the dark.
In the center, the Rat King roared. Its massive, fused body convulsed, and the pulsating green crystal in its chest flared.
"Isabelle," Damien said calmly, not taking his eyes off the Rat King. "Clear the board."
"Yes, Master."
Isabelle stepped in front of him, facing the swarm climbing the nearest pillar.
