Chapter 512 - 75: Su’en Dies Suddenly! Colonization Planet
The Great Main Brain.
The brain that rules over all brains.
The Great Main Brain before him differed from other Su’en Elder Brains. Before entering the Distant Realm, it was already a Challenge Level 25 fleet Main Brain. Other Su’en Elder Brains were partly transformed from immature Main Brains back then and partly created through a blood sacrifice ceremony twisted by the Old Ones, which required sacrificing many Heart Stealers and storing their excavated brains together alive.
Shawn devoured the Great Main Brain before him!
In fact, he hadn’t expected the battle to be this easy. On one hand, it was because Lady Hecate was indeed very powerful; on the other hand, it was because Su’en was somehow summoned to another Crystal Wall System Universe.
The Great Main Brain differed from other Elder Brains; it was Su’en’s chosen one.
In other words, the Great Main Brain could serve as a vessel for Su’en to descend into the real world and could mobilize Su’en’s Divine Power to fight. Under normal circumstances, it would possess the power equivalent to at least a lower-level Old One and would not be much weaker than the Swamp Lord - Mendor.
Yet, it was killed by Shawn with such ease!
"This battle is full of mysteries!..." Lady Hecate’s whisper echoed.
Shawn had now fully taken over the Brain Pool Temple of the Heart Stealer city. Here, there were grand statues and altars of Su’en, but they emitted a dim spiritual light, and some altars were even broken, though not because of their battle with the Great Main Brain.
These altars shattered in a very peculiar way; their surfaces showed faint cracks rather than the entire altar collapsing, which was clearly not caused by residual combat influence.
Shawn nodded and said, "Yes."
"In the final moments of the battle, the Great Main Brain attempted to beseech Su’en’s Divine Power, but instead of growing stronger, it became weaker."
This was the most puzzling aspect to Shawn.
Other creatures experienced a surge in power when exploding in desperation, but when the Great Main Brain sensed danger and exploded, not only did its power not increase significantly, it was also easily caught in a mental loophole by Shawn, who then invaded the opponent’s brain consciousness.
A creature at Level 40, a master of both Mystic and Spirit, was thoroughly consumed and assimilated by Shawn.
Its will shattered in its final moments!
In its lingering consciousness, only the whispers concerning ’Su’en... no...’ echoed.
"What happened outside?" Lady Hecate suddenly seemed to perceive something.
Shawn’s figure flickered instantly, and he saw the entire city of the Heart Stealers, the entire Garden Planet, and even the twelve satellites surrounding the Garden Planet, all with numerous altars and idol shrines built by the Heart Stealers displaying faint cracks on their surfaces.
This was law power exceeding common understanding!
Under normal circumstances, no supernatural ability could instantly shatter so many idols and shrines; there was only one possibility.
Lady Hecate’s voice carried a hint of joy, surprise, and hesitation: "Su’en has fallen?!"
The Old One was slain.
In the Bizarre Realm, Su’en, considered a great threat, wielding the authority of an upper-level Old One and master of the Mind Law, regarded as a ’strong Divine Power’, was slain!
Only in this way would all its altars and shrines shatter instantly.
Shawn seemed to realize this too, feeling unsure: "Su’en is dead? Who killed him?"
A being with strong Divine Power from the Old Days, who could kill him?
Lady Hecate shook her head and said, "I don’t know. It could be other Divine Spirits from another Crystal Wall System, and with all the altars and shrines shattering at once, it’s highly possible that they severely injured Su’en’s Immortal Divinity!"
Shawn asked in confusion, "Teacher. Where has Su’en gone?"
After pondering for a moment, Lady Hecate replied, "I am unsure. But over the past thousand years, Su’en has been dispatching fleets to other Crystal Wall System Universes."
"They traversed the Star Realm, crossed the Sea of Chaos."
"According to rumors, it seems that a fleet of Su’en’s Heart Stealers entered a Crystal Wall System called the ’Barbaric Celestial Domain.’"
"It is very likely that Su’en was summoned away by them."
Shawn’s figure came to stand before a grand statue. This Su’en statue was somewhat reminiscent of Cthulhu but was a version fused with the Heart Stealer. Its primary forms were twofold: one was a massive, twisted Heart Stealer shape with countless tentacles extending from the chin, the other an enormous Main Brain with innumerable black tentacles extending from both sides.
Now, all these ancient statues had been shattered without exception.
Lady Hecate pondered, "Rumor has it that the Barbaric Celestial Domain is a realm belonging to an Essence, and Su’en may have encountered an Upper Position Essence from that world!"
On the battlefield of the Garden Planet.
Su’en’s Heart Stealers were in complete defeat. Initially, this expedition to Divine Terra had gathered a massive force and allied with the powers of seven Witch King Cities. Now, with Su’en’s statue shrines shattered, all Su’en Followers instantly lost the ability to perform Divine Arts. They were completely stripped of casting abilities on the divine arts side.
When the Divine Spirit of faith dies, the priests are almost finished.
Su’en is truly dead!
On the Garden Planet, there were at least thousands of Su’en Followers capable of performing Divine Arts, and now they have all become Heart Stealer Warriors; originally, they sacrificed part of their Spiritual Power to gain Divine Arts abilities, and now without Divine Arts, they are almost like warriors capable of executing Mind Shockwaves.
A standard Su’en Follower is—a Level 8 Aberration (Heart Stealer)/ Level 4 Priest. (Challenge Level 10)
