The Blue-seed Gourd was obtained during the journey to Ice City, so why hasn’t Li Cunxu sprouted it after all this time?

There are two reasons.

Firstly: The underestimation of the Blue-seed Gourd.

The abilities of the Seed Gourds are limited and offer little help to Li Cunxu, especially post-King level, making them even more limited in utility. For this reason, Li Cunxu lacked the motivation to go through the trouble of sprouting the Blue-seed Gourd.

In fact, it wasn’t really Li Cunxu’s fault for underestimating them, as the capabilities of the Seed Gourds are indeed limited.

For example, many Seed Gourds are completely useless to Li Cunxu now. Out of the four sprouted gourds, only the Red Luck Gourd benefits him; the others are practically useless.

The Gold Jade Gourd had some use prior to reaching Gold level, but beyond that, it couldn’t keep up with Li Cunxu’s progress.

The Blue Outcast Gourd and Honest Gourd were barely used, and they serve little to no purpose.

The Blue Outcast Gourd’s capability is to produce Blue Outcast Liquid, which can make others forget the existence of something.

After attaining the title of Azure Heaven King, Li Cunxu felt the burden of fame and wished to remain low-key, intending to use the Blue Outcast Liquid on himself to erase himself from public memory. The previously accumulated Blue Outcast Liquid ran out after a brief half-night of use, achieving almost negligible results.

The Honest Gourd’s ability is to produce Honest Juice, which makes one speak truthfully upon consumption.

There are innumerable substitutes for Honest Juice, and its effects on a King are limited, requiring mass consumption. As for a Venerable King, its effects are minuscule; a Venerable King Strong Person could drink Honest Juice as ordinary water.

Secondly, Li Cunxu wanted to save the Blue-seed Gourd until he acquired the Purple-seed Gourd, and then sprout several Seed Gourds together.
