Chapter 301 – The chaotic mess.
[Current location: Dungeon – Main workshop]
"Welp, things are about to get fucked." – said Porai as she sat on the spinning chair.
"Honestly mate, expect the war."
{"Is it really that bad?"} – asked Thauma in its worker body as it written its question on the notebook.
"Unfortunately, yes."
"There are honestly many reasons why is it bad."
"And it is not related to you alone."
"True, you started finally showing your value to the empire."
"They started getting free soldiers from you over time, while also having ability to just buy more from you."
"Originally the empire didn’t seen you nothing but a burden... But now that you started working, they are now... Well? Let’s just say they see you with interested in their eyes."
"They probably wouldn’t lose you now that you have shown the worth."
"But this isn’t just about the empire benefiting from you."
"This was a clear act of terrorism."
"An attack."
"I maybe not had been an official one, but still, it was a terrorist attack through and through."
"An unprovoked attack without any justification."
"There were no kingdom forces present... But then again, there was no way those wyverns would launch attack like that, just fly long ass distance to attack empire out of nowhere."
"There were also these people that broke into the Mevon territory."
"They were not soldiers... But considering what happened, it is pretty much easy to guess what the enemy goal was."
"It was to prevent the empire from getting stronger."
"True, it may seem at first that this dungeon was nothing more than pain in the ass... But once they saw the true value, they must had realized how fucked they are."
"There is also a good chance they found out about the dealing as well as the deal of handing over free soldiers."
"The enemy realized the danger and decided to deal with it before it will be too late."
"It would honestly explain everything."
"Desperation."
"..."
"Then again, the problem is that small group of elite bastards."
{"They got past our security in a way we didn’t expected."}
{"Honestly, I wasn’t expecting for them to find that kind of blind spot in our defenses."}
"Yeah, none of us did... And that is the problem."
"If those were real living soldiers, they would realize that something was off when some soldiers and would raise the alarm."
"Yeah... A simple fucking mistake we had overlooked."
"The golems can’t think of their own."
"And we ended up leaving up an extremely simple opening, which the enemy easily exploited... Honestly, I’m baffled how I DIDN’T noticed it."
"I mean, I’M THE GOLEM SPECIALIST!"
"For fuck’s sake... And yet.... Fuck." – said Porai as she started spinning in her chair in annoyance.
(This is freaking humiliating... And that woman, once she hears about it, she will 100% start laughing right in my face.) – thought annoyed Porai as she could image Ariava just poking her finger right in the vampire face.
"...Welp, now we know what to do... But again, this won’t be fucking easy."
"This SIMPLE fucking problem won’t be easily solved."
"We can give special coding and what not... But the problem still remains."
"The golems won’t have any ability to think of their own."
"The only way we can somewhat deal with this problem is to increase security, making it more advance and what not... This is the only way we can deal with this... But still."
{"These invaders?"}
"You read my mind, huh?"
"Yeah... Honestly speaking, we both, no. Us and the empire both expected for something like that to happened."
"But the enemy really freaking caught us off guard."
"They failed... But the problem is that now everybody knows what the hell happened."
"Ariava will find out who did that... And the question remains, what then?"
"War?"
"And this is FUCKING stupid."
"Thing started finally getting quiet... But if a war were to happened now, it could cause a stupid ass chain reaction."
"I can just imagine what sort of bullshit will happened."
"..."
"Thauma."
"I know that you want to set up your base as soon as possible... But I think you will need to only focus on military strength for the time being."
{"Was planning to."}
{"The enemy, they may had came here fully knowing they were outnumbered."}
{"But I knew I would had lost."}
{"Honestly, the only reason why I survived was because I implemented the poison type weapons that you suggested."}
{"And that was the only reason why."}
"...Can I be honest with you mate?"
"It was just freaking luck."
"I honestly only thought about the poison, wondering what you could use to somewhat make traps and what not, in case the enemy could somewhat counter the bombs."
"I then thought about adding poison to the bomb golems instead of explosives."
"But what if I didn’t thought of that?"
"Or what if the enemy attacked earlier before the poison were implemented?"
"To make things even worse... They escaped."
"Honestly speaking, the poison that we developed using red clovers and fang flower isn’t exactly... The best."
"True, it has powerful effect which can immobilize the opponent pretty much quickly after they just breath it."
"However, these are easy to get plants."
"Simple protective equipment or spell can easily deal with this shit."
"The enemy only lost because they got caught off guard."
"But if they just had bare minimum preparation to deal with this shit and if they discovered what we had used, then the poison could straight up become rubbish."
{"What about getting more poison potent ingredients?"}
{"The materials you had brough me were already used to make up the garden in order for me to produce more of the red clovers and fang flowers."}
"And how the fuck do you think I could do that?"
"Honestly, brining anything extremely dangerous will be beyond problematic."
"I mean, there is limit what I can do behind the empire back."
"These ones? They are fine."
"We did ended up exposing the existence of the poison hounds to the empire, since we needed to give them info about the situation."
"This basic ass poison is freaking fine, since the poison that we created with is was the best possible thing."
"A fear."
"Nothing else."
"..."
"Honestly speaking, if the enemy realized that the poison was far weaker than they realized, they may had still went for the dungeon."
"We freaking bluffed."
{"True. It was beyond close."}
(This was way too sudden.) – thought Thauma.
(A powerful group of invaders appeared without warning and were powerful enough to threaten my entire army of over 1 000 golems.)
(I still had my dungeon.)
(True, it is getting remodeled, but I have basic defenses set up and the entire dungeon is filled to the brim with golems.)
(There is also me and Porai in the mix.)
(As long as the core isn’t destroyed, I can revive myself.)
"..."
{"By the way, I have question."}
{"These creatures that suddenly appeared out of nowhere."}
{"Demons, right?"}
"Yeb. A hell demons to be exact."
In this world there exist several different realms, a worlds per say that are connected with each other, or be more specific, they are connected with the core world.
[Hell]
Also known as the demon realm.
[Heaven.]
Also known as the angel realm.
[Garden]
Also known as the spirit realm.
In each of these realms, there exist countless different creatures that are separated from core world.
Core world is the realm where the main story is taking place.
The name of this core world, a planet itself is called the Blemma.
Normally these beings have hard time just entering or existing in that world, but there are some expectation to this rule.
Some spirits, angels and demons that were born in the core world, the Blemma realm, they were adapted and changed overtime, causing them to become a new races which were now part of the Blemma realm, allowing them to stay normally in that reality.
"The core realm and different realm demons." – said Porai.
"Honestly there is a lot of differences about the two."
"However if I were to say the main difference between core world demons and the demon world demons is this."
"Strength."
"The beings from hell realm, heaven realm or spirit realm are far stronger compare to their core world counterpart."
"Usually that is, there are often cases where the beings from the core world are stronger than those of their origin realms."
"Take for example Ariava."
"She is part demon. Her mother wasn’t from the hell but from the core world."
"And yet... Her demon half is such powerful that many people think that she may had been truly been from hell."
"...Anyway, we are getting side tracked."
"Demons."
"The ones that attacked you."
"The enemy used the summoning crystals."
"These crystals acted like gateways, allowing the demons to fully manifest into this world."
"There is good chance that these demons were either controlled or they were feral... Either way, it worked their way."
"The demons in questions they had summoned were called Limos."
"They are demons of gluttony."
"Or more exactly, they are freaking berserkers that tries to eat anything and straight up refuse to die even when you cut off their limbs."
"They are freaking beasts."
"Nothing else, nothing more."
"...Still, you saw it yourself, didn’t you?"
"How strong the demons from hell are."
"..."
{"Do you think I will be forced to fight them or other beings from different realms?"}
"Do you want my honest answer mate?"
"Considering how fucked your life story has been so far?"
"I wouldn’t be surprised."
"So yeah."
"I think you should be mentally ready for that kind of freaking possibility."
