Chapter 168.2: Handing Out Snacks to a Yin Spirit
Three days later.
Rogue Immortal sat inside an inn. Inside his storage pouch were the pills his master had just refined. He was waiting for Qiyuann Sovereign to arrive, and truth be told, his heart was restless. Or rather, he hadn't quite figured out how he was supposed to face him.
A bright, lively girl burst in, glaring at him with wide, almond-shaped eyes. "Xiaoyu! I sent you to deliver medicine to my grandfather, and you ran off here to watch the excitement instead?”
"Ye Chan, cough, my friend is coming. I'll deliver the medicine after I see him," Rogue Immortal said, instinctively shrinking back a little.
The tall woman beside Ye Chan frowned. "You dare delay Lord Ye Chen's medicine? You've got quite the nerve."
"It's fine, really," Ye Chan quickly said. "Grandpa isn't in a hurry."
A complicated look flashed through the tall woman's eyes. "Little Chan, Lord Feng Xiao's grandson—Feng Tian—is waiting upstairs. Let's go see him."
Ye Chan hesitated.
Just then, a clear, relaxed voice drifted over. "Rogue Immortal, long time no see. So this is the city you're staying in? Not bad! It is much better than the backwater I came from."
Rogue Immortal turned and saw Qi Yuan in flowing blood-red robes. At his side was a small, exquisitely cute girl, no more than seven or eight years old. They were holding hands.
"This is my daughter, Qi Jianjun," Qi Yuan said casually. "Jianjun, this is Rogue Immortal. Call him Uncle Rogue."
Her eyes sparkled as she looked at Rogue Immortal. "Hello, Uncle."
