Chapter 813 - 327: So-Called Divine Spirits Are Nothing Special!!_2

In an instant, endless radiance exploded from that place, turning the entire sky blazing bright.

The world shook.

The crowd roared.

All the Alien Race experts felt their hearts quake, a shudder running through them; only they understood what had just happened.

Divine Spirits had crossed worlds, truly descending into this realm.

On a mountain peak, Jiang Shi felt a chill in his heart, sensing a nameless, terrifying crisis bearing down on him.

He had just seen that scene with perfect clarity.

Two Divine Spirits had already successfully descended.

"This is bad..."

His heart surged, thoughts shifting and wrestling at high speed.

"Don’t even think about retreating. Retreat means death. While they’re grievously wounded, this is your one chance."

Suddenly, a cold voice came from the Celestial Demon’s Right Hand.

"Your only chance..."

Jiang Shi repeated.

"Your Power is stronger than I imagined. Against peak Divine Spirits you may not win, but against heavily wounded ones, you still can."

The Celestial Demon’s Right Hand continued, its tone icy: "Dealing with Divine Spirits is very simple. You only need to shatter the Divine Power membrane covering their bodies, then you can kill them. If you can’t break that membrane, all your attacks are useless."

"Is that so?"

For a split second, countless thoughts flashed through Jiang Shi’s mind.

A moment later, a chill flashed in his eyes. He made up his mind completely.

Slay the gods!!

He drew in a deep breath, body lunging forward, unleashing every shred of Power within. He shot out like a bolt of human lightning, charging ahead at extreme speed.

Boom!!

A terrifying burst of force erupted from him, cloaking ten thousand pores in a layer of golden light. His Physical Power turned into a Barbaric Dragon.

Indescribably wild!!

...

In the distance.

The chaotic forest collapsed, mountains shattered, and a breath of annihilation coiled over the ruined ground. Two enormous craters were gouged into the earth.

In each crater lay drops of scarlet blood.

The blood glowed unnaturally bright, shining like crimson gems, saturated with thick Essence Qi.

But both craters were already empty of people.

The two Divine Spirits that had fallen had vanished the instant they hit.

Jiang Shi charged all the way over, his gaze like lightning, sharp and bright, sweeping solemnly around him.

Every thread of trace in heaven and earth instantly entered his eyes, as if he could peer into the world’s source and grasp every Law.

A moment later, his body jolted forward again, sprinting toward the distance at extreme speed.

In a dense mountain forest.

Li Xinghe was covered in blood, his aura withered, half his body missing; he was hideously, unimaginably injured.

He panted harshly, body swaying. Gritting his teeth, he forced himself onward, trying to find a place to heal as fast as possible.

With his current wounds, if he didn’t receive timely Healing, his very source would be damaged. Then a drop in Realm would be the least of it—at worst he could die on the spot.

"I don’t know how things are on He Daojun’s side. We descended in different places, very far apart. I remember after he fell, he headed east immediately..."

Li Xinghe muttered in his heart.

He soon stopped thinking about it, continuing to rush forward. Seeing a concealed cave finally appear ahead, he immediately sped up, sprinting toward that cave.

But just as he dashed out, a sudden mutation erupted.

An immense, overwhelming Power closed in on his body. A gigantic foot, wrapped in endless divine light, appeared out of nowhere and stamped straight down on Li Xinghe’s face.

Bang!!

The sound was dull, shaking the surroundings.

The force of that stomp was monstrously terrifying. It nailed Li Xinghe with a solid kick; he screamed miserably, blood spraying as his nose bridge buckled. His whole body was knocked out of the air, flung backward and smashed down hard.

Boom!

His body crashed into a small mountain in the distance, pulverizing it completely. He staggered, swaying, like he’d been smashed stupid.

His face was awash in blood. Disbelief filled him. With a furious roar, he burst out from the sea of rubble, his whole body blazing with brilliant beams of light. He hovered in midair, eyes blazing with rage.

He’d actually been ambushed, stomped in the face, kicked flying; his nose bone was crushed. It was a humiliation beyond imagining.

He had just descended to the Lower Realm. Even badly wounded, he should still be beyond the offense of Lower Realm creatures.

Li Xinghe’s eyes burned with raging fire as he swept his gaze forward—then his pupils suddenly shrank, shock flashing across them before icy light surged.

"You!!"

Killing intent erupted from his body, his aura terrifying, as he locked tightly onto Jiang Shi.

"I didn’t go looking for you, and you actually came to me!!"

"So this is a Divine Spirit. Looks like you’re no different—get hurt and you bleed like anyone else."

Jiang Shi muttered, staring at Li Xinghe. His voice was low: "If this is all you’ve got, then today, don’t blame me for slaughtering gods!"

"Insolence!!"

Li Xinghe barked, halfway laughing from rage. He’d risked everything to descend here, supposed to stand high above and be Dominator of all. And now a native ant dared talk of slaying gods.

It was the joke of the ages!

"Ant, you’ll never understand how strong Divine Spirits truly are. Today I’ll make an exception and let you see."

Li Xinghe’s tone was icy. He hunched slightly, wild light filling his eyes as his whole body erupted in roaring flames.

An energy field formed around him, blazing bright, covered in countless runes.

Stone slabs all over the ground rose into the air one after another, floating around him like a swarm of tiny worlds.

A massive aura exploded out in an instant.

Then his body lunged forward, charging straight at Jiang Shi at blinding speed, like a streak of light and electricity. He swung his fist down; heaven and earth detonated in that instant, sun and moon losing their glow, the world shaking.

As if chaos itself were being cleaved open!!

Jiang Shi’s gaze tightened, his heart jolting.

A Divine Spirit was still a Divine Spirit—hurt that badly, yet he could still erupt with such terrifying strength.

Without thinking, Jiang Shi unleashed every shred of Power in his body. His Talent flared open. It was like billions of volcanoes erupted inside him at once as he punched forward.

With a thunderous boom, a huge mushroom cloud blossomed between their fists, surging in raging waves, exploding like a dozen nuclear bombs.

All the boulders that had risen with Li Xinghe, along with the surrounding mountains, instantly disintegrated, turned to dust.

Their bodies shuddered as each was injured by the other’s terrifying Power. Their skin prickled with pain, their hearts jolted. Both were blown back, retreating to the distance.

"I underestimated you. Your flesh is already nearing that of a Divine Spirit. Unbelievable—truly unbelievable."

Li Xinghe said in shock.

"Yeah, I also didn’t expect you to be this weak. Even weaker than I imagined. How much Power did you just use?"

Jiang Shi’s eyes flickered as he looked at Li Xinghe.

"What did you say?"

Li Xinghe was stunned and enraged.

"I said you’re weaker than I thought."

Jiang Shi fixed his gaze on Li Xinghe, like a colossal beast staring down its prey. His lips curled as he charged again at extreme speed.

Power and Brute Force fused in an instant!!

The Emperor Scripture roared to life!

Rage erupted!!

As he charged, his body rapidly swelled and widened like it was being inflated, growing three or four times larger in a flash. His Power skyrocketed more than tenfold.

The terrifying sight drained the color from Li Xinghe’s face, making his scalp crawl. He could barely believe his own eyes.

It was like a gentle little lamb had suddenly transformed into a savage demonic dragon.

His pupils constricted; he tried to dodge, but he was too slow. With a thunderous crack, Jiang Shi’s Palm Strike was already buried in his abdomen, folding him like a shrimp, shredding all his clothes. His features twisted as he spewed blood, screaming.

His organs felt like they were about to explode; blood and sweat flew from every inch of his body.

Before he could even react, Jiang Shi’s huge hand seized his skull like lightning. Then he began to swing him, turning him into a straw dummy, smashing him everywhere, explosions booming.

He hammered him dozens of times.

Then Jiang Shi lifted a foot and stomped down with a bang, planting his heel squarely on Li Xinghe’s forehead, pinning him beneath his foot. Jiang Shi’s gaze was cold, towering above like an absolute overlord.

"How’s the taste? Seems these so-called Divine Spirits are nothing special!!"
