A Bio-Weapon’s Rhapsody

"And that's the gist of it." The Taxi person finished explaining, he had tried to change the channel of the TV, but Alexa didn't like him, so she didn't let him have the remote!

The TV didn't have a remote? And was in reality a monitor? It didn't matter, Alexa had the remote and she wouldn't give it back!

"So since Ale is indisposed, shall we defer to Ed for what to do?" [Fan Girl] turned to [Meat Shield] as she said that.

"Actually…" The Taxi person said turning to look at Alexa, Hi! "Protocols dictate that I follow the instructions of the highest Saintsworths available on site. That would be Lady Alexa…"

"… you gotta be kidding." [Fan Girl] said groaning, "She is a child!"

"A very cute one!" Alexa added nodding with [Fan Girl], Alexa was indeed a girl, a cute girl to be precise, the cutestest of them all.

"What are our options?" [Meat Shield] then asked, taking control of the situation, dealing with the annoying stuff that Alexa didn't want to deal with! That's what we have [Meat Shields] for after all!

"… Like I said before, we can either deploy our weapons and deal with them as they come." The Taxi guy then started describing all the weapons the thingy they were flying in had, Alexa ignored those, since they didn't sound tasty, "We can turn to gliding and turn on the plane engine when we lose momentum… Or we could continue flying as normal."

"I suggest gliding, I can help generate enough lift with some wind currents to maximize our distance traveled." [Fan girl] gave a [Fan Girl] kind of answer, as expected of a fan girl!

"That could tax you too much, the amount of energy to keep this and don't give away our position would require too much from you." The [Meat Shield] said shaking his gravely head gravely, "Would it be possible to lower our profile? Pass up as a normal vessel?"

"No normal planes are flying at this altitude or in this route." The Taxi guy said shaking his head, "What do you think Lady Alexa?"

What did Alexa think?

"If we go with [Fan Girl]'s option, what would it mean?" Alexa decided to ask for now that, "Would Alexa be able to watch TV?"

"No." The Taxi guy said shaking his head in a negative! The worst kind of head shake! "We would turn off all devices and would ask you all to do the same with any device on your person, as that could give away our position. Mana expenditure would need to be kept at minimum too. Which would mean the construct of your friend would need to be… compacted."

"…Compacted?" [Fan Girl] asked raising an eyebrow, Alexa also wanted to do that!

"We have devices to seal off Mana radiation, body constructs such as that one radiate Mana wavelengths like crazy, so we would ask him to reduce his signature and size and to wait in a sealed box." The Taxi guy said pointing at the back of the room, where some boxes stood. "At least during the black out."

"Denied." [Fan Girl] said glaring at Taxi guy, "Then our only option is going gun blazing."

"Or…" Alexa said raising her hand, "We could carry on as normal!"

"…Carry on as normal?" Taxi guy asked confused, "Meaning… pull out or weapons? Turn on combat situation?"

"The thingie with the red alarm blaring and the room turning dark an ominous?" Alexa asked for confirmation, she had seen those in one of the movies that Ale liked.

"Yes." Taxi guy admitted to it!

"No!" Alexa said shaking her head, "Alexa will deny that! And will say it again. Her favorite word is: No!"

It was a lie of course, Alexa's favorite word was Mango, everyone knew that. Glory to the Mango gods! Unless they hated Alexa, in which case, half glory to the Mango fruit!

"Then what is normal?" Taxi guy asked confused, "We need to prepare for the next part of the travel, we are about to enter to the dangerous part of the flight route."

"We carry on like this." Alexa said doing a spiny spin, "Doing nothing but travel in a straight line!"

Alexa knew the correct answer!

"If they see us like this, they will think that we aren't important and ignore us!" Alexa said nodding sagely, "They will think we are a diverticule!"

"A diversion." [Fan Girl] said after Alexa, "Would that work?"

"Some of our flight plans do include unmanned and manned vessel flying ahead…" The Taxi guy said nodding, "We didn't have enough time to prepare one for this, and didn't want to expose our hand by giving more resources to this one. There are actually some other flights being prepared and we suspect our enemies will focus on those…"

Alexa nodded sagely, she didn't got half of that, but she assumed that one needed to nod at these situations!

"Then… we fly as normal?" [Meat Shield] said from the side, "And when they come knocking at our door… carry on like nothing?"

"We wave at them." Alexa said nodding, "It's only polite to wave at the people who come by to say hi."

"I guess that could work…?" Taxi guy said also nodding at Alexa's plan, as he should. Because it was the bestest plan ever.

"… We are so going to die." [Fan Girl] said sighing and sitting on the floor, "…I guess I could teleport us back to Ohio? I mean, it's that or to the ocean below us."

"I would sink to the ocean floor." [Meat Shield] said raising his hand, "I would rather go back to Ohio if you don't mind."

"Oh right, body of rocks…" [Fan Girl] said nodding, "Then back to Ohio, get a boat, and return here to finish the rest of the travel by boat?"

"Can Alexa pick some snackies for the travel?" Alexa said raising her hand, she had to raise her hand or people would ignore her! Alexa didn't know how she knew that, but since she knew that, it was probably the truth.

"Yeah sure, we can raid the cafeteria or something." [Fan Girl] accepted Alexa's plan! Yay! She forgave Alexa!

"The ocean is filled with megafauna." The Taxi guy chimed from the side, "So I would suggest getting a battle cruiser from the Saintsworths, or an attack submarine."

"Wouldn't that attack us?" Alexa was confused, why would they want something that attacked them? Or was this one of those situations in which they attacked as a way to show they cared about you? Like how Big Brother used one of those [Gun Type Weaponry] against Alexa when they first meet?

"That is how they call them." [Fan Girl] said shaking her head, "Like how your shampoo is a destroyer, but it doesn't actually destroy you when you use it."

"Le gasp!" Alexa did a le gasp! "Commodore Soap was a destroyer?!?!? Wasn't that Lieutenant Poo? Lieutenant Sham Poo?!?!?"

"… You get the point, neither of them actually destroy you." [Fan Girl] glossed over Alexa's naval forces! "Even if they have that in their name."

"But they want to destroy Mister Squeaky!" Alexa pointed out the flaw on the reasoning! Take that!

"Point is, their name and rank don't define what they do or can do." [Fan Girl] said sidestepping Alexa's damming evidence! Dang it! "In this case they are called attack submarine because they main work is to attack enemy vessels."

"Would they accept me there though?" [Meat Shield] raised an important problem! "They have delicate equipment and smaller spaces. It may require me to.. slim down as it would be with us going into a black out flight pattern."

"Ah right… Could we get a fleet?" [Fan Girl] turned to Taxi guy, then to Alexa," Alexa. Can you ask your brother for a fleet?"

"Alexa can!" Alexa said nodding at that, "Alexa can go as far and ask for two fleets even!"

"… Please don't." Taxi guy suddenly said from the side, "Lord Alexanders does not have the best of times within the inner circle of Saintsworths at the moment, getting him to deploy the Saintsworths fleet would end up with trouble…"

"They wouldn't deploy for him?" [Fan Girl] said surprised, a weird smile blooming on her face.

Even though that was bad? Why was she like that?

"Oh no, nothing of the sort." Taxi guy said shaking his head, "They would deploy, they would go out of their way to deploy even. But that is not the issue."

"He wouldn't ask them, would he." [Meat Shield] suddenly said, he had the thoughtful face on! He was in the thoughtful mode! "If it would cause issues, then it is probably because he wouldn't move the Saintsworths assets, but his own assets."

"He has a fleet?" [Fan Girl] said surprised, "How the hell does he have a fleet? Do they even sell fleets in the market? He went and bought one?"

"I mean…" The Taxi guy said scratching the back of his head, "You do know we are flying to his city right? Not a city of the Saintsworths, not a city state made by a nation. But his personal city."

"…Ah right…" [Fan Girl] said remembering that bit, silly [Fan Girl], how could she forget that!

"And that is the issue." Taxi guy pointed out, "We are already skirting around the limit of what the Main branch is willing to tolerate, if they find out how much of a personal army Alexanders has… The fallout may come sooner rather than later."

Fallout? They were going to play a game?

"So, if possible. I would hope you don't put us in such a situation." The Taxi guy finished saying as he bowed toward Alexa, "Alexanders seems to have… a soft spot for Lady Ale and Lady Alexa as of late, and while him having a more human side is a good thing -more so since this time its towards a living being- it can be a weakness to be exploited."

"But wouldn't noming the bad guys solve it?" Alexa helpfully pointed out, "If they are being meanies, we can just nom them."

"…So shall we continue flying as normal?" The Taxi guy said turning to [Fan Girl] and [Meat Shield], "I assume you two don't have any issues? If so I can go ahead and set up everything to continue flying as normal."

"Right," [Fan Girl] said nodding, where they ignoring Alexa's answer? "How long would it take for us to get the weapons out? In case we need them I mean."

"That would not be possible." Taxi guy shook his head, "To fulfill the civilian profile we will need to discard the extra platting and weaponry, so we will be toothless going forward."

"Then we will depend on our Core powers?" [Meat Shield] raised one of his arms and it sharpened into a blade-like thingie, "My powers require me to get close and personal, I doubt they would be compatible with this environment."

"That would be ill advised." Taxi guy pointed down at the floor, "The plane will lose the mana dampening qualities, so any use of advanced techniques involving Mana will work as proof that we are a worthy target."

"… My form continuously consumes Mana to keep integrity." [Meat Shield] pointed out at his own body, "Even on the most simple form available I will still be using Mana."

"I do not like having to shut out all my techniques." [Fan Girl] said frowning, "How much mana would be too much?"

"Alexa can nom the excess Mana!" Alexa raised her hand yet again, no one had told her to not raise her hand, so she would keep doing so! Because it was cute when she did it!

"You can?" [Fan Girl] said surprised, why was she surprised? Alexa had nomed plenty thing before!

She had right? Right? Alexa had a vague impression about her noming many things, but didn't actually remember noming that many things. Perhaps it was one of those things where one did things without paying attention so she hadn't noticed it when she did? And so, she only got the impression of doing it, while she didn't really remember because she hadn't paid attention.

At the very least Alexa nomed Ale! She did it just a few minutes ago! Or what remained of Ale after they changed spots anyway. But she couldn't use that as evidence, since it sounded weird, and Alexa wasn't that good at explaining things, and since Ale was still eeping, she couldn't come out to explain that she was fine. So better leave that alone!

"Alexa can!" Alexa said it aloud, just in case they hadn't remembered what Alexa could do with the flashback from Alexa noming stuff around! Alexa had nomed so many things! Like… her breakfast, the popcorn, Ale, and so many other things!

"Well, in that case please focus on keeping the mana contained to this room, we will move along the Mana shielding to keep it concentrated here." Taxi guy started fiddling with something on the wall, "Please ensure it doesn't go above the threshold, the shielding was not designed for this."

And when he was done speaking, a weird meter showed on the wall besides the door, it had a red line and everything. So Alexa needed to ensure the blue thingie didn't go above the red line?

"Alexa reporting for duty!" Alexa said saluting and turning to the [Meat Shield], "Alexa will do her bestest to nom all the mana so the gas meter doesn't go over the limit!"

"Its… its not a gas meter…" Taxi guy started saying only for [Fan Girl] to put a hand on her shoulder and gentle say no to him, poor thing. He managed to make [Fan Girl] to give up on teaching him the correct words.

Not everyone could be as smart and well behaved like Alexa. Alexa did not envy their life, imagine having to live with the knowledge that you got corrected by [Fan Girl]!

"Do you need me to do anything?" [Meat Shield] asked as the Taxi guy finally left the room, "What can I do to help?"

"Just sit down and calm yourself." [Fan Girl] was the one to answer, "You just survived something quite traumatic."

"We are at the middle of an operation." [Meat Shield] shook his head, the grating sound of pieces of rock brushing against each other resounded on the room, "We will have enough time for me to process what happened when we land in a secure location."

"Hmm…" Was it that traumatic? He just lost some body parts, his weren't even the original ones! Alexa knew, she had seen the Original blueprint when repairing him! "Alexa doesn't need much, she will just use her most powerful asset."

Alexa smirked as she looked down upon the infidels! The heathens! The audience! The readers! And everyone in between!

"See?" [Fan Girl] said as she sat besides [Meat Shield], "She says she doesn't need you to do anything, so just relax. Trust me, you need it, more so after what happened."

"Her sippy cup!" Alexa pulled out her most precious and powerful possession (After the [Fork]), "Muahahahaha."
