After the incident with Griseo, I returned back to the Moon. Kiana had been waiting there for a long time. Her elegance remained untouched amidst the raging torrent of time. I could stare at her blankly for the long years to come. I didn’t even notice how relaxed I had been the moment she entered my sight.

Kiana was about to say something when she stopped. I must have looked quite stupid in front of her.

“W-what’s wrong..?”

I told her everything that had transpired. Kiana knows a lot when it comes to Mei and Griseo, especially the former. The two had similar trajectories in life, just that Kiana had it worse. I also didn’t hide the fact that they were supposed to be close friends, if not family. Heck, they are even lovers at some point. Only, Kiana didn’t seem to care much about that future. She cared more about our time now. That thought made me giddy when I first heard of it.

“They wouldn’t probably give up on dating their teacher.” She commented.

“...I can see that happening.”

I didn’t deny her words. I am not self-centered and arrogant to think that a mere red string could bind my fate together with others. It’s just that our interactions lit up a spark between us. I am not the one to reject others, more so when I find myself attracted to them.
