Chapter 153 Deep Sleep
Chapter 153 Deep Sleep
Inside Deborah’s lair, deep within the cave, Iryoku remained asleep and unconscious. His chest rose and fell steadily with each breath, yet he showed no sign of waking...
Days passed quickly, then weeks—but nothing changed.
Yumi was there one afternoon, sitting quietly with his head resting in her lap. She gently brushed her fingers through his hair, smiling as she traced his cheek. Slowly, tears welled in her eyes. She wiped them away and whispered softly,
“Please… I know you’re tired, but don’t take too long of a nap. We’re here, waiting for you, whenever you’re ready… hehehe.”
She let out a small, shaky laugh, her hand never leaving his face.
“Sometimes I fall asleep thinking about how our lives would be if we hadn’t come here. Would we have been together?” She nodded to herself. “I think so. I know you—you would’ve pushed and pushed until you finally made me yours.”
She kept rubbing his cheek, noticing the rough stubble there. “You need to shave again,” she murmured fondly. “Anyway… I had this dream today.”
Her voice grew warmer, more animated.
“We were in class together, sitting side by side during first period. Then the teacher stepped out for an errand, and I moved from my seat and hopped onto your desk, smiling at you, flirting without caring who saw. You wrapped your arms around me, and we started making plans—going out after school, maybe the movies, or maybe even a love hotel.” She laughed softly. “Hehehe, I really have become such a shameless girl.”
A tear slipped down her cheek.
“Then I woke up and imagined us going to eat at my house. My grandma would be reluctant at first when I introduced you, but you’d behave so properly in front of her that you’d win her approval right away.” She smiled through her tears.
“Or maybe I’d go to your place, meet your parents… or sneak into your room just to be with you—spending time together, having sex, enjoying our little romance. “You’d come with me to my archery practice, too. Though at this point, I could probably win the Olympics with my eyes closed—hehehe.”
She leaned down, resting her forehead lightly against his.
“Wake up soon, okay? So we can do all those things—and more…”
Another time, it was Reika who stayed by his side. She lay beside him and wrapped her arms tightly around his body, burying her face against his chest as she breathed him in.
“You know…” she murmured between shaky breaths, “…It’s not good to leave your dear wife waiting.”
Her voice trembled as she spoke again. “Didn’t you say you’d come to my home and ask my father for my hand…?”
She broke down then, sobbing quietly against him. After a moment, a small, bittersweet laugh escaped her lips.
“Hehe… I imagine us arriving home, holding our child in our arms. That would be perfect. My father wouldn’t have any way to object—we’d have to get married.” Her voice softened, almost dreamy. “That old man, and the stupid fiancé he chose for me, would have no choice but to step aside.”
She sniffed softly and pressed herself closer to him.
“Knowing my father and him, they’d be furious… but I know you. You’re a capable man. I’m sure you could face them both.” She smiled faintly. “Honestly, I think you alone could wrestle power away from that other branch of the family company and still earn his approval in the end.”
Her fingers tightened in his hand.
“Of course… we don’t really have to do any of that. I don’t even care about the company.” Her voice grew warmer, more sincere. “I could look for a different vocation—maybe even try to write novels… I could write our story…” She smiled faintly. “And we could just enjoy life together… have a child, maybe two, and be happy…”
She rested her cheek against his chest, listening to his steady heartbeat, and whispered,
“So please… don’t stay asleep forever...”
On another occasion, Agnes was hugging his face, pressing it close as she tried to push her dripping tits into his mouth.
“Ahh… hehehe. It’s time for your milk,” she said. “Come on—you can drink all you want. You can even bite me hard. Or, if you want to really let yourself go, you can hurt me like that time before… maybe I could break my teeth again.”
The half-elf girl wore a completely unhinged expression—but when she realized he wasn’t reacting at all, something inside her shattered.
She collapsed against him, crying openly. “Please… don’t leave me. I need you in my life. I’m sorry… I’m so sorry. This is all my fault.” Her words tumbled out between sobs. “I summoned you. I brought you all into this dangerous world, full of hate and death…”
Her grip tightened, desperate.
“I know I’m being selfish. I know my original purpose was to conceive a child,” she continued, her voice cracking, “but you said we’d make each other happy.” She laughed weakly through her tears. “Sometimes I imagine us together, seated side by side on the throne—rulers of the Uruk Kingdom—praised by the people, living a prosperous life… being recognized.”
She shook her head slowly. “I know you wouldn’t like that. It’s not your style. But… I know you could do it. Your ability to lead is incredible.”
Her voice softened, drained of strength.
“I’m sorry… let’s forget all that.” She pressed her forehead to his. “Let’s just take it easy… and enjoy each other’s company.”
She stayed there, holding him, waiting for an answer that never came...
Time passed. Christina buried her face in Iryoku’s manhood, sniffing deeply, her eyes half-closed as her bunny ears twitched. His cock twitched in response, slowly growing hard from the movement alone.
She smiled faintly. “My dear God… even in your dreams, you dream of taking me, my lord…”
Tears shimmered on her face as she swallowed and wiped them away. “So please forgive me. I’ll use the same method you used to pull me out of my darkness.”
She spread her legs and aligned Iryoku’s cock. Wet sounds echoed in the cave...
Later, long after the night had passed, she collapsed to the side, weak and trembling.
“I really can’t beat you… can I?” she murmured with a tired smile.
“You know, my lord…” she said softly, resting her cheek against him. “Back then, when you and Sister Yumi saved the orphanage from those knights… I think I fell for you even then.” Her voice shook. “Maybe at the time I wasn’t fully aware of my feelings. It was something new to me—I just really wanted you to stay with me. After you and Sister Yumi left, I often imagined you returning—staying by my side, taking care of the children with me.”
She took a shaky breath.
She stayed close, wrapping her arms around him, her body still wobbling from exhaustion.
“I even prayed to that false goddess back then, wishing I could see you again. We may have met under terrible circumstances… but you still came for me.”
Her grip tightened slightly.
“So please… wake up. You told me I should live for you.” Tears slid down her face. “And I am doing it. So please… you too. Please live for me...”
Even Katherine came to visit him.
She didn’t approach too closely. Instead, she sat with her back against the cave wall, watching him sleep from a distance. Silence surrounded her as her thoughts drifted.
“You really pulled a big one on me,” she muttered quietly. “Turning me into your servant and bodyguard until the day you all arrive back home safe and sane… give me a break.” She scoffed softly. “You’re really a despicable person, making me agree to a deal like that—giving me the shortest end of the stick.”
She exhaled slowly.
Though… taking things easy for once. Maybe it wouldn’t be such a bad fate.
Her gaze returned to him, and despite herself, a faint, gentle smile formed on her lips.
“I know you can do it,” she whispered...
Deborah came and went many times, bringing chunks of meat scorched over a bone fire. She held them close to Iryoku’s face, watching. Waiting.
No reaction.
In the end, she ate the meat herself.
She dragged furs and claws into the cave, piling them in a corner. Sometimes she picked one up and crawled back to him, holding it in front of his eyes.
“Look… Iryu. Claw.”
She wandered around the cave, scratching crude drawings into the walls, her eyes drifting back to him again and again.
Eventually, she returned and lay down beside him. She wrapped her arms around him, squeezed him close, and licked his face with clumsy, animal affection.
“Iryu… Deborah here,” she murmured. “Deborah alive. Deborah love Iryu.”
She pressed his face against her large chest, breathing slowly, grounding him the way she grounded herself.
“Wake up… Iryu. Eat. Must eat...”
Finally, it was Alessandra’s turn to sit beside him.
She stared at his face, her eyes growing hazy again and again. From time to time, she repeated the same motion—gripping her own arm until her fingers dug in deep enough to leave a bruise.
She let out a bitter laugh.
“Why do I keep doing this…?”
Her gaze dropped to the mark on her skin.
“This is nothing. Just a scratch. Nothing compared to everything you had to go through…”
She leaned closer and lay down beside him.
But he remained locked in his deep sleep.
She whispered, “I remember so clearly the first time we met… and I keep thinking—why didn’t I...”
Her voice trembled.
“I wish I could go back and meet you all over again. I wish they were still here with us. I wish I hadn’t been such a coward.” Her breath broke. “God… I wish all those years we spent apart could be given back to us.”
She clutched his hand, as if terrified he might slip away.
“If I had just done one thing differently—just one stupid little thing—maybe we’d be in completely different circumstances.”
Tears fell freely now.
“I promised you… if you just give me another chance—if you wake up right now—I’ll do everything in my power.” She shook her head weakly. “I won’t deny you. I won’t betray your trust. I won’t hurt you like I did…”
Her breath hitched.
“Not physically… not with my silence… not with my inability to say sorry, even after finally meeting you again.” Her voice cracked. “God, why did I never make peace with you? Why did I think that was the right way to fix things? I won’t shy away ever again.”
She swallowed hard, the guilt lodged in her throat thick enough to choke her.
“I won’t scold you when you misbehave anymore. I won’t judge you if you hurt people. I won’t stop you from finding more women.”
“Sob… sob…”
“If that’s what you want, I’ll even help you find them. If you want to scream at me—if you want to hit me—I won’t stop you.” Her grip tightened. “I deserve all of it.”
She leaned closer, trembling.
“But… please… please just wake up. Please don’t leave me with all this guilt.” Her voice dropped to a whisper. “Don’t leave me… I know I’m being selfish…”
Her lips barely moved.
“…without you.”
Her vision blurred completely, the present dissolving into a haze of regret and memories she could no longer outrun.
