Double Dagger Delinquent

Chapter 99 Raging Waters

Chapter 99 Raging Waters

The surrounding knights yanked at the girls’ pants, dragging them down, while the king and his sons leered at their bodies, their members already in hand.

Iryoku thrashed weakly, right in front of them, trying to reach—do anything—but his body wouldn’t respond.

“AAARGHHHHHHHH!”

Suddenly—

A green light flared around them. Without warning, water erupted from nowhere—a roaring flood of glowing currents sweeping through the hall.

Alden and his sons tried to summon their Leben, but it was too late. Distracted by their lust, their reactions came too slow.

The torrent rose into a glowing, twisting vortex, dragging knights, mages, the girls, and Iryoku into its grip. No one could escape. Weapons clattered as they vanished beneath the swirling depths.

Iryoku’s harpoon—still in the hands of a knight—was wrenched away by the current. But Commander Vaelrik, the high-ranking royal officer, clung to it with all his strength.

Through the luminous waters, a naked woman’s silhouette emerged, struggling against him—wrestling fiercely for the mythical weapon.

With a final heave, Vaelrik tore the blade free—

but the indestructible white rope unraveled in the current, slipping from his grasp.

The rope, Iryoku, Alessandra, Reika, Yumi, and the group’s weapons were all swept outside. The turbulent current hurled them through the castle’s hidden stone channels, finally spitting them into a dark sewer.

They vanished into the shadows.

Back in the hall, Alden finally forced his scorched Leben to life. Heat surged outward, clashing against the water still flooding the chamber, sending up thick clouds of hissing steam. His sons, knights, and mages followed suit—Leben and magic flaring now that the strange disruption had faded.

As the water drained away, Alden’s rage boiled over.

“That fucking girl… that ungrateful child. Next time I see her, I’ll kill her,” he snarled.

His voice dropped into a cold command.

“Seal the city. They can’t have gotten far.”

“Yes, Your Majesty!” the warriors barked before scattering from the castle.

Vaelrik strode forward, soaked to the bone but gripping something in both hands.

“Sir, I managed to hold onto the blade.”

Alden took the Wolf Fang from him, studying the weapon with a slow, predatory smile.

“Good work. With this…” His lips curled further. “I’ll be invincible.”

His laughter rumbled low and dangerous through the hall.

At the city’s edge, beside the barracks, a large stone chamber echoed with the ring of hammer on metal.

Kloss, the half-dwarf blacksmith, grunted as he shaped a sword. “Dammit. Now that dumbass is back, they’ll only give me the weak, low-priority work.” He quenched the blade, steam hissing, then tossed it onto a pile of crude weapons. “This is bullshit.”

The floor suddenly trembled beneath his boots. A deep rumble came from the sewer grate in the corner, growing louder—until the lid exploded upward in a burst of water, spraying the forge.

“What the hell?” Kloss barked, clenching a fist. “Whoever this is, I’ll—” He stopped cold.

A glowing torrent poured into the chamber, carrying several young people—and the shimmering form of a naked woman made entirely of water.

From within the watery spirit, Agnes staggered forward, her breath ragged. Yumi, Alessandra, and Reika spilled onto the wet stone, coughing violently, half-naked and shivering.

“Aqua—quickly, keep healing them,” Agnes ordered hoarsely, dark circles shadowing her eyes.

The water spirit raised her hands, releasing a cool mist that curled over the group.

Iryoku lay there—mangled. Broken bones, skin burned black in places, deep cuts leaking crimson. His chest barely rose.

Yumi’s voice broke. “Iryoku!”

Alessandra and Reika dragged themselves across the wet floor toward him, the shock in their eyes hardening into desperate resolve. “Hang in there!” Alessandra pleaded.

All three of them hurriedly yanked their pants back into place, cheeks flushed with humiliation—shaken to their core after nearly being violated.

Reika’s hands trembled as she began casting healing magic over him, her voice quivering with sniffles. Light pooled faintly beneath her palms.

Iryoku’s eyelids fluttered. His jaw hung at an unnatural angle, split and swollen, teeth shattered. Blood seeped from the corner of his mouth, running down his cheek. His throat worked to form words—each one a painful rasp.

“G… girls…” His voice was barely a whisper, thick with blood. “Esc… ape…”

The sound tore into them. Yumi clutched his shoulder, tears spilling freely. Alessandra’s breathing hitched, and Reika’s magic faltered for a heartbeat, her vision blurring. They saw not the stubborn, unbreakable fighter—but a broken man barely holding onto life for their sake.

Kloss broke the silence, his voice uncertain.

“Who hurt him that bad?” His gaze shifted toward Agnes. “What just happened, Your Highness?”

The girls’ eyes burned with hatred as they looked from him to her.

Yumi snapped her head toward the dwarf, clenching her teeth hard. She snatched her bow from the floor and notched an arrow she found nearby. Her face hardened with anger as the tip began to glow.

“You—are you one of those stupid king’s men?” Tears brimmed in her eyes—fear still there, but buried beneath rage.

Kloss raised his hands defensively. “Little lass, no—don’t. Don’t you remember me? I made that bow for you. Never thought I’d see it aimed at me.”

“Lady Yumi,” Agnes said weakly, “he’s a good person. We can trust him.”

But Yumi swung her glowing arrow toward Agnes instead. “You… this is all your fault,” she hissed, tears falling as magic crackled at the tip.

Alessandra and Reika tensed. Alessandra grabbed her shield and cannon.

Reika kept channeling magic into Iryoku, but her glare never left Kloss and Agnes.

Kloss gave an awkward chuckle, trying to ease the tension.

“A dwarven cannon, nice, eh? Ah… and the other missing—the valiant beauties.” Sweat trickled down his forehead. “Calm down, I’m not your enemy. Look—I’ve got your weapons here, lasses.”

Reika and Alessandra exchanged wary glances.

Alessandra leveled her cannon at him. “Don’t move. We don’t trust anyone here—especially men.” Her hand still trembled from fear.

Reika’s palms glowed faintly. “That’s right. You people are nothing but barbarians.” Her voice wavered, but her eyes burned.

For a moment, their rage overcame their fear.

Agnes dropped to her knees, crying. “I’m sorry… I didn’t mean for this to happen. But we need to keep moving—they’ll find us soon. Please, trust me. Mr. Kloss is a good man. He’s a hybrid like me. He’s suffered—I know he’s trustworthy.”

Yumi sneered. “Trustworthy? Just like the maids and that fucking Jonas?” she spat.

“I… I…” Agnes stammered, at a loss for words.

Kloss looked between them, still uncertain. “What exactly is going on?”

“Lord Kloss,” Agnes said quickly, “they need to escape. Father wants to hurt them—and he stole Lord Iryoku’s weapon.”

“That greedy bastard,” Kloss muttered.

“But I managed to recover this.” Agnes pulled a white rope from inside her shirt and held it out.

Yumi moved in a flash, snatching it from her hands, her face still burning with rage.

“I don’t know the whole story,” Kloss said cautiously, “but I know you kids are good people. You might not trust me, but… your gear’s ready.” He kept his hands raised as he stepped aside. “It’s over here. I’ll show you. Just… please don’t shoot me, lass.” The most update n0vels are published on Nov3lFɪre.ɴet

From a large box, he produced a full set of heavy armor with a massive shield and a heavy mace embedded with black stones, along with a magic robe and two black rings.

“See? Made from the scales and black bones you sent me. Not much material, but tough as hell—and perfect for channeling magic and Leben.”

Reika stepped forward, slipping on the robe and picking up the two rings.

“Those are The rings of powerEpic-tier,” Kloss explained proudly. “They help focus and shape spells, like a staff but easier to handle. The lad asked me for something like that last time he was here.”

Reika glanced at Iryoku. His color had improved, but he still looked wounded. She gave a brief nod to Alessandra, who stepped up next, donning the armor and taking the shield and mace. She strapped her cannon to her back as well.

“The mace—Skull Crusher—is Epic-tier,” Kloss added. “The armor, shield, and magic robe are only Rare-tier.”

Seeing them armed again, Yumi finally lowered her bow, exhaling slowly.

“How do we get out of here?”

“Actually, there’s a secret escape route I built at the back,” Kloss replied.

Alessandra lifted Iryoku into her arms. His eyes snapped open—he tensed at first, but relaxed when he saw it was her. His jaw hung slightly open, his gaze shifting as if taking everything in.

Aqua kept channeling her water-mist healing over him, shimmering light sealing the last of his wounds.

They moved toward a storeroom-like area. “Look—I have your carriage here, just like Princess Agnes requested—hohoho,” Kloss said with a grin.

A large armored carriage stood before them, its reinforced plates gleaming.

“Quickly—put the lad inside,” Kloss urged.

With no better choice, the girls decided to trust him.

Alessandra stepped in first, laying Iryoku gently on the padded bench. Kloss hurried to a corner, rummaged between racks of armor before returning with two more sets.

“Here—one for the lad. I noticed he doesn’t have armor anymore. And for the little lass—yours looks a bit worn.”

Yumi accepted the gear.

“Don’t move,” Alessandra said suddenly, startling everyone.

Iryoku rose slowly, his jaw almost fully healed. His voice was low but sharp.

“Give… me… the strongest dagger you have. Right now.” His eyes burned with a cold, controlled fury.

Kloss hurried away and returned with a weapon.

“Here—it’s made from king-tinium, Epic-tier. Stronger than your twin daggers, though not as strong as the mace or the rings forged from the black scales and bones. Those are at the very top of Epic-tier—the materials were scarce. And obviously, neither of those comes close to the wolf fang they took from you.”

Yumi took the king-tinium dagger, along with throwing knives and extra arrows.

Kloss moved to the wall and pulled a lever. With a heavy grinding sound, a stone panel slid open, revealing the outside. The sun was already dipping low on the horizon.

Agnes raised her hands and summoned Rhogan. The girls couldn’t help but smile faintly at the sight of the massive rhino. The beast growled and snorted as Kloss quickly strapped it to the carriage.

The group was ready to escape. Aqua followed them inside, still channeling her healing into Iryoku as they prepared to rush out.

They turned toward Agnes, who sat on the stone floor, head bowed, utterly exhausted. There was almost no light left in her eyes—like she had already given up.

The girls stared at her coldly… then noticed her rubbing her belly again, gaze fixed downward.

Reika was the first to move. She stepped out of the carriage and stood before Agnes, prompting her to look up.

There was no hatred in Reika’s eyes anymore. She shook her head and extended a hand.

“What?” Agnes asked, surprised.

“Just come with us. I don’t think there’s anything left for you here,” Reika said firmly.

“But… but…” Agnes trembled.

“We will not abandon Iryoku’s child inside you. He wouldn’t like that, even if he never said it outright,” Reika muttered, her voice unsteady. She tightened her grip on Agnes’s arm. “And… I know what it’s like to carry impossible pressure from your parents.”

Agnes’s lips quivered. She let herself be helped up and limped into the carriage. Curling into a corner, she kept her eyes locked on Iryoku—who didn’t even glance at her.

He sat slouched forward, head bowed, hands resting limply on his knees. From her angle, Agnes couldn’t see his face—unaware that his eyes, hidden beneath shadow, burned with a cold, merciless glare. A death stare. The kind that cut deeper than any blade.

Alessandra sat beside him, trying to soothe his pain and worry. “Everything will be okay. We’re fine… nothing bad happened to us—they didn’t even manage to lay a hand on us,” she whispered, rubbing his back with gentle care.

But he noticed her trembling.

An image flashed in his mind—a young boy being pummeled into the ground.

“I’m sorry for being weak,” Iryoku muttered.

Alessandra’s eyes widened, tears welling up. “You are not weak…” she said, her voice breaking. She wished she could remember their past.

Iryoku’s hand closed over hers, gripping it tightly.

“Don’t worry, lasses and lad!” Kloss shouted from outside. “I’ll keep my mouth shut. And if you ever send me more strong materials, I’ll forge you more weapons and armor—hohoho!” He waved them off.

Rhogan snorted and began to run, carrying them beyond the towering stone walls of the Uruk capital.
