Chap 165: Gojo morning hassle

Satori's face paled when she saw her new room. The dorm is a whole lot smaller than what she had pictured in her head.

"You like it?" Geto ask from behind.

She intentionally didn't turn to Geto, that girl would no doubt make fun out of her expression.

'Such a pampered schmuck you are.' She could hear the sarcasm already.

"I guess, nothing to complain about if I'm being honest." She wasn't.

There was a desk and chair pressed up to the wall beside the window, a bed tucked on the opposite end, with a wardrobe beside the desk. All of her luggage was placed neatly by the foot of her bed.

No T.V, no gaming console to all her Intendos. The view was nice tho, Satori can see the path to school, the yard, and the training court from her bed window.

"Uh huh. Well, if you ever need anything. My room is right across the hall, Hoko's room is on the other side of the building."

"Why?"

"Fuck you mean 'why?' He's a dude, boys' dormitory is separate from girls." Geto gives Gojo the most confusing stare. "Shit, did they not teach you anything about that back in the clan?"

"Uhh, I'll be settling in now, see ya in the morning." The white-haired girl quickly shut the door to their bedroom.

"Hey, just so you know, there's a curfew, if you sneak around too late, you're gonna get caught." Geto gave her a piece of t advice before returning to her room.

Inside, Satori had her face buried deep into the pillow, the material isn't up to her own room, but she shouldn't be so pesky about such a thing.

This is how normal is, or at least to her it is.

Nothing here is expensive or has any significant value but its own simplicity. The kind she wasn't able to have.

But she made friends, like actual people who didn't fret from letting their thoughts be known to her, or were too cautious because of her status.

Tossing and turning, 'so this is what freedom feels like.' She thought with a giddy smile. Next morning can't come any quicker for her just can't wait to see what's waiting for her tomorrow.

-------------

*knock* *knock* *knock*

Sounds of hard knocking resounded through the room, Geto had never jumped down her bed and rolled right under it quicker than just now.

Still half asleep, she pulled her head up to the clock.

'Who the ffffuuu-' her cursing paused by the voice on the other side of the door.

"Yooooo, Geto~wakey wakey, it's morninnnng! Time for school."

"This bitch." Geto mumbles to herself.

Opening the door, her face almost got decked by another slap, the young prodigy unable to control her energetic body, running in place, already with uniform on as she was waiting for Geto.

"Gojo, it's six in the morning, class doesn't start for another hour and a half." Geto said in a tired voice. Clearly annoyed.

"Oh, you know what they say about the early bird and getting the pray. Come on, get dressed."

She was trying to hold back her curse energy, if this became a regular occurrence, she might explode for real.

"Uhhhhhh." This is way too much to deal with this early. Geto had her hand up, "hold up let me brush my teeth first."

--------

Hoko had a nice sleep, woken up to the sound of buzzer coming from her clock.

Tapping it slightly, the boy got out of bed and into the bathroom. The sink mirror showed a healthy boy, one who has yet to be struck with sleepless nights and insomnia, over the guilt of dead friends.

But Hoko had no idea of it, the boy just mindlessly brushes his teeth and does his makeup like usual. It was a simple routine, a peaceful one, he didn't know why he liked it so, but it just is.

Putting on his uniform, a black coat and pants, it was simple and nice, customized with small pockets, he had told them it was for emergency situations, but he just liked having more space for his loli pops.

Slinging the backpack over one of his shoulders, he retrieved the flip phone in his pocket, the numbers in there are almost useless now.

Who's he going to call, his parents who had left him ? The friends he left behind to pursue this job ?

Maybe he should have asked for his teacher's number yesterday, but oh well.

Absent-minded, Hoko's mind came back once he heard the distinct voices shouting and arguing. They came from the front of the boys' dorm gate, sure enough, as he expected, her two classmates were there waiting.

Gojo looks childish, with brightass white hair and sunglasses, shouting her name. Geto just looks defeated like a tired-out single parent.

"You know, I might just call the school and report you two for harassment if you keep this up."

"Hey, blame this chick, she's the one insisting on waking you up for school."

"And I have succeeded," she laughed. Hoko just stood there, dumbfounded. "Let's go, girls, we're having an adventure, filled with excitement, wonder, and..."

"Math?" The trio sat in class, only Gojo is stumded by the fact that she is forced to learn something that is so useless.

"Don't forget, you're a student, along with curse energy, I'll also be teaching you about academic subjects aswell." Takumi stated.

"Booo," She didn't like being restricted in one place. "You said we can go on patrol."

"I said I'll consider it. The way you control your techniques is barely acceptable, so until things change you'll all be studying here, like a bunch of regular students."

Disappointment was shared among the trio to various degrees. The most bothered is Gojo, and Hoko is the least, as he kinda not care about it much.

"I'll personally guide each of you firsthand before taking you on the field."

That certainly speaks something in them, but whether he can help or not is still unknown.

*tick tock tick tock tick tock*

Satori rested her legs on the desk as her friend rolled his eyes out of boredom. Hoko threw her head back and yawned, waiting for the bell to ring. Suguru was the only one who didn't mind scribbing down notes, though she catches the girl in a brief occasional glance at her wristwatch, frowning.

First was math, then history, then chemistry. Takumi's lecture seemed to stretch out even longer than Gojo's Limitless. Just when they thought it would be over, a new subject would be written on the chalkboard, and they would start again.

*Ring*

"Ahhh....finally," Gojo bounced up from her seat. cracking her stiff hip, "sitting in one place so long can cause you to have a medical problem in the future, Sensei."

"That's from you keeping sitting in a weird posture, Gojo." Geto wasted no time in pointing out the white hair girl style of always sitting with one feet kicking the air.

"Anyway, it seemed we won't be getting that personal 'tutoring' Takumi-sensei talked about." Hoko got the bag over his shoulder and was ready to go when Takumi spoke up.

"Who said I won't ?"
