130- Breakthrough
After the situation had stabilized, Dian then focused on guiding the civilization to make a breakthrough in the Technology Tree and Transcendent Tree.
While Smirth was enjoying a tour with the others, Dian had to communicate with the Nafs in the Library of Consciousness to prepare them and encourage them so that they would push their counterparts, the living beings, into making any progress.
“We have lacked the breakthrough in technology for the past century, and the way to the next realm of transcendence is still not in sight. Now that the situation has stabilized, it is time for deep thoughts to unlock the higher Tier of Technology and Transcendence.” Dian murmured as he sent many orders to the familiar people.
Kudungga, Goto and Chi You were obeying the orders and prepared themselves for developing new things.
They then connected with the numerous scientists on the civilization to make progress on the Technology Tree while also seeking the transcendents to give them a spark of an idea about the next realm.
So far, there had been numerous theories about the realm above the Core Formation Realm but all of them were not suitable path for all of the living beings practicing the transcendent path.
“Hmm.”
Charlene was reviewing the past technological breakthroughs and knew that most of them were the result of the Scientific Inheritance as well as the spaceship that the Father God had sent.
It was not a product of their own hard work but assistance was needed to further progress their technology.
She had a strong hunch that the next big breakthrough was just around the corner but could not form a concrete proof of that. She only knew that it was related to the spaceship industry.
So far, the production of the spaceship was hard and only one North Heaven was available even after centuries. It meant that the spaceship industry was still in its infancy.
‘Ah, that’s right. I need to find a way to make the spaceship production cheaper. That is my next objective, isn’t it?’ Charlene thought while looking at the spaceship blueprint and decided to find a way to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of producing a spaceship.
Then she called for everyone related to the production of the spaceship since she wanted to know the details of producing it.
Her friend Annie was also one of them and the easiest to reach so she was the first one to come to Charlene’s home.
“What’s wrong with calling me so suddenly in the morning?” Annie came into the house, being watched by Charlene’s family when she entered.
“I need to tell you something important. About the production method of the spaceship, to be exact.” Charlene then described her theory about the increased production of every needed part of the spaceship.
Annie first just listened casually before she was enraptured by what Charlene had said. Then her expression turned serious as this could involve almost all the available industry.
“In summary, we need the combination of everyone in the small to heavy industry to make another industrial revolution involving spaceship production.” Charlene said before taking a drink from her water bottle.
“But this is a difficult thing to do. You know that not everyone will be pleased to shift the production of another essential item into one that produces a spaceship.” Annie replied with a serious tone.
“I know that. But producing a spaceship that truly can bring us to another planet is essential for a technological breakthrough. I just know it.” Charlene’s voice was spirited at the beginning but turned into a whisper at the end.
Just as the two, who were sitting next to each other wanted to resume the discussion, someone came.
“Do you want some snacks?” Tatsumi asked as he entered. He had been waiting for an opportunity to give them some and now it had arrived.
"Yes!" the two said at the same time.
“Haha, looks like we are discussing this in depth with some light snacks.” Annie smiled when she heard the word snack.

Just from listening to Charlene alone caused Annie to be gushed with inspiration on how to optimize the resources and the industrial complex that produced the components for the spaceship.
The current spaceship that the civilization could make could only allow the journey up to the Red Moon before needing to return to the Cerulean Planet.
It meant that the civilization did not truly reach the next breakthrough in spacefaring technology.
Charlene had a feeling that spacefaring technology was the biggest obstacle in the way of the big breakthrough. Tatsumi nodded in agreement at that since the Father God also agreed on that view.
That was why she, currently as the First-Class Civilian, could make a proposal to the Federation to make some adjustments in the industry.
Tesna the president of the Hinon Science Institute, supported the proposal that Charlene had given, along with Annie the chief engineer of the Federation. Those two alone were already a giant on their own and now that the two agreed to the proposal, the others had no choice but to follow.
Year Two Hundred and Forty-Three of the Father God Calendar.
Right after settling down the Lizardfolk, the change in the industries regarding the production of the spaceship caused a major upheaval in the civilization.
It was because the way the resources were utilized and processed became more refined and could be used to produce more spaceships than before.
Not only that but the spaceship that could reach another planet was said to be currently in production.
In the Virya Star System, seven planets were orbiting the Violet Sun. Cerulean Planet was one of them and the other six were actually not suitable for normal living beings to inhabit.
It was because the conditions on those planets were extreme, so living there was currently impossible with the current technology the civilization had.
Even the scientists predicted that the Gling, which could adapt to almost any situation, would not survive. If that were the case, it would be even more unlikely for humans to survive.
But they believed that there could be a habitable planet out there in the vast universe. That was why the production of the spaceship that could reach that planet had to be done.
And so, the Hinon Federation and all those countries under it were mobilizing their industries to make a spaceship suitable for interplanetary travel.
Although what Charlene envisioned was a spaceship that could manage interstellar travel but for the first step, interplanetary travel was a must. Just like technology progressed from one stage to another, Charlene realized that technology needed to be developed stage by stage.
This was strengthened when Tatsumi said that all development, whether it was physical of the human body or intellectual and spiritually, needed to go through stages. Charlene was reminded of that and sighed in relief that she was not rushing.
‘Indeed, rushing is what a divinely-guided man tends to do. I need to be thorough and slightly delay my judgment.’ Charlene thought as she was receiving reports from Tesna and Annie regarding the progress of creating a spaceship for interplanetary travel.
On the other hand, Tatsumi had to meditate to find the next major realm that was still elusive from his mind, even to this point in time.
‘I still cannot imagine what the next major realm should be, much less how to reach there.’ Tatsumi thought while sitting cross-legged while his eyes closed in deep thought.
He knew that the next step would change the world in his body, starting from the lower dantian. But he could not come up with a feasible method to break through the current predicament.
‘What should I do from here?’
Tatsumi was lost in thought, thinking about various possibilities but all of them came with uncertainty.
‘Should I…destroy the core?’ Tatsumi suddenly had a strange thought.
‘No…it would only destroy the very base of my power. How about transformation?’
Tatsumi thought for a moment before imagining the transformation of his core. But he realized something more important than just his core.
‘Wait a moment. What about the vessel of the core, the body? Yes, it is strengthened by the Body Refining Technique but they are separate. What if the answer lies in the human body…it is feasible.’
Tatsumi felt that he had managed to grasp a straw in the desperate situation and further his thoughts in this direction.
‘Vessel must be improved, along with mind power. When the Mind, Body and Technique are balanced and in harmony, can I break through to the next major realm?’ Tatsumi deduced and felt that this path might be the most feasible out of the countless paths he had thought of.
‘But what should I call the next realm?’ Tatsumi thought.
‘It changed the entire body to be able to store more transcendent energy as well as the mind power. It can be called a Revolutionary Realm.’ Tatsumi then tried to do that exactly as he envisioned.
When his mind power was roused to the peak along with his physical body as well as the transcendent energy in his core which was currently spinning, and realized that around the core, a small membrane was forming as if it was the mantle of the core.
‘This…looks like the embryonic form of a planet!’ Tatsumi thought in surprise.
He had seen the creation of the Cerulean Planet so he knew that this form looked familiar to him.
Without him realizing, Tatsumi had managed to break through a major realm. Tatsumi realized this as his power was multiplied tenfold upon reaching the next realm.
His mind power along with his physical body, also changed as they were strengthened by the major breakthrough.
“Hahaha, this is actually the Revolutionary Realm!” Tatsumi stood up and clenched his hand.
He could feel an overwhelming power from his very being. Fortunately, his control over his power was great so the commotion was on his own body.
[Your civilization has broken through to T2 Transcendent Tree.]
Dian, who had seen Tatsumi, found a way to break through a major realm, was surprised at the speed at which he solved the problem.
Then he looked at the early part of the T2 Transcendent Tree in his system panel.
[Name: Revolutionary Realm
Rank: 2
Description: The next major realm after Core Formation. Forming a quasi-planet in the lower dantian while tying the mind power and physical power, elevating the power of a transcendent multiplied by ten.]
“So soon? I assumed that the technology would be the first to get a breakthrough. I didn’t expect that the Transcendent Tree would get the breakthrough first.” Dian commented.
“Eh? Congratulations on breaking through in the Transcendent Tree.” Frie was the first to sense a change in the Ether in the air and knew it was unlike any Core Formation Realm transcendents who had broken through their heavenstage.
“Ah? When will the Technology Tree breakthrough?” Leif was a bit dejected when he heard the news. He liked Technology Tree better than anyone in the group, so he hoped the civilization's technology would develop to T3 sooner.
“Sometime later, obviously. I saw the progress increasing.” Smirth commented as he saw it through the system panel.
All of the Planet Masters that Dian encountered were given limited access to the Planet Master System according to their role.
If they wanted to access more of the system, they needed Dian’s permission.
“Can it be done for everyone? I mean the transcendent breakthrough?” Ghylea asked.
“For now, only for the usual transcendent.” Dian replied patiently.
“What a pity.” Ghylea shook his head before looking for his race in the Undead Secret Realm once more.
“Now, we just need to wait for the Technology Tree breakthrough.” Dian said while opening other system panels.
But the development of technology was not easy, especially when you did it intentionally. You need a base for that, you built the knowledge and practical lessons before attempting to create something completely new.
But more often than not, new technology was discovered coincidentally and then applied to the masses, causing the method to be spread.
This time was no different. After ten years of development, the Technology Tree of the civilization on the Cerulean Planet broke through to the T3.
Year Two Hundred Fifty-three of the Father God Calendar.
Dian once again looked at the Technology Tree at the base. There, he saw the new entry.
[Your civilization has broken through to the T3 Technology Tree.]
[Name: Interplanetary Spaceship
Rank: 3
Description: The technology that enabled the civilization to fly to another planet in the star system. It is truly the first step of civilization toward conquering the universe. Many things from the economy and military will change due to this alone.]
“Yes! Finally!” Leif was the first person to shout out with excitement.
After all, the dwarves were also assisting in this very invention so he was glad for them.
“Flying through the distance between planets and making it possible, this soon too. I have to admit that the human race is truly great at taking advantage of everything.” Mazdari commented.
Dian then realized that the Technology Tree did not stop at the base but started to spread and a new entry was created. Dian then selected the entry from the system panel.
[Name: Warp Engine
Rank: 3
Description: The distance between planets was already far; this engine was designed for the spaceship that will be created for interplanetary and interstellar travel. With this engine, one could travel fast enough that the distance between planet and star seemed closer than what you think.
Further possible technology: Warp Restrictor Pylon, Interplanetary Gate, Interstellar Gate.]
Dian was flabbergasted. Two entries at once were quite rare so he knew that the time spent on developing the breakthrough had been spent on this, too.
But he curled up his lips as he realized that with this, the requirement for him to reach the Third Rank Planet Master had been fulfilled.
As expected, the Planet Master System acknowledged the result.
[Congratulations to Planet Master Dian for completing the requirements to reach the Third Rank.]
[Due to that, you have been promoted to the Third Rank Planet Master.]
[Your Civilization has entered the third rank]
[Your Star Battle will also enter the third rank territory]
[Some of the facilities in the Universe Market become available.]
[You have unlocked multiple planet management.]
Dian and the others were stunned for a moment. They could not believe that Dian had reached the Third Rank.
“This counts as a thing to celebrate, right?” Goliath said with a grin.
“Certainly.” Frie agreed.
“But would you tell Her Excellency Tritis about this news?” Chikara asked.
Hearing her, Dian was reminded that he had a faint relationship with Tritis. But he had just reached the Third Rank and was not sure whether calling her to meet at the previous place would be wise.
Furthermore, he had a strong feeling that something was going on with his existence. He felt that his existence was becoming stronger in all aspects.
But the Planet Master Space would not let Dian feel it since the space’s purpose was for better control and connection with the planet.
Dian also realized that the function of multiple planet management was because his civilization could go to other planets, enabling him to look at the planet’s status and situation.
As for what the others said regarding Tritis…he would tell her ultimately. This was a show of sincerity and could potentially deepen their trust.
After all, Dian had learned much from the human race about reciprocating.
He closed his eyes, feeling his existence getting stronger due to his promotion to the Third Rank.
What is the power of existence? From the information I have gathered so far, it is the power stemming from one’s core existence. My human race called it Nafs and the other civilization called it with a different name. But the core existence includes memory, perception, and personality. So…what defines me?
I only know that the power of my existence grows stronger but not the exact value. One way to increase it is to have numerous experiences. In the Planet Master System standard, I am being categorized as young despite being seventy-five million years old. But I think that experiencing numerous events is actually the closest to the truth.
Dian thought and felt that he needed to watch more about the races under him. It was the most he could do if he wanted to increase his own power of existence.
Chikara wanted to say something extra but stopped when she saw Dian was closing his eyes. She could feel that Dian’s existence had become stronger. But she also wanted to know his reply and was patiently waiting for Dian.
Dian sighed before he opened his eyes. His thought now was complete and he was ready for something.
“Alright, I will tell her about this.” Dian replied after some time in silence.
“Yeah, I want to follow you. Can I?” Goliath asked.
That was what all the Ex-Planet Masters here wanted after all. Dian then looked carefully at Leif, Ghylea, Frie, Chikara, Arowana, Goliath and Mazdari.
Seeing their expression, Dian knew that they wanted to meet with Tritis, to see one of Ten Venerables with their own eyes, or to ask something, or just to look at her.
“Then stick close to me. I will initiate a transfer to the Universe Market.” Dian said and everyone then moved closer to him.
While Dian waited for them to prepare themselves, he sent a message to Tritis.
Dian: Excuse me, are you available? I have just been promoted to the Third Rank Planet Master and want you to participate in the celebration. Reply to me as soon as possible.
Just as Dian finished sending his message, a reply soon came. Dian was slightly surprised since it was usually some time for Tritis to reply to his message.
Tritis: Sure. I have expected you to be promoted to the Third Rank. We will meet in the previous place. You know it, right?
