Chapter 395: Good News
Yue Jie was checking on the accounts with the candles burning bright beside her.
She was also trying to stay calm like what Xue Cong had done, using the account books to distract herself from the anticipation.
Every moment seemed like an eternity to her.

Xue Cong was the wife and she was the concubine.

Lin Xuan Qi saw her gaze on him and he held his hand onto her cheek.
"I’ve been busy for the past few days and I will compensate for it."
"Wait." She said and pushed the account books aside, just in case they would get messed up.
But it was unwarranted.
Lin Xuan Qi guided her to the bed, took off their clothes and sat on the bed in lotus position, waiting for her.

"There will be budget for anything if it’s for you." Yue Jie shook her head and said with her face blushing.
She meant what she had said as everything was only possible with Lin Xuan Qi.
All his hard work so far made it possible for them to have such a great and stable life.
Letting him have the best was the least they could do for him.
