Chapter 393: Trying Things Out
It startled her for a bit but she kept calm, giving Lin Xuan Qi full trust.
The fire from her heart and the wood from her liver activated and they started to be in some sort of a battle.

He quickly directed more of his Five-Element Qi to her lungs and the metal from the lungs interacted with the fire and it started to course through her body.
And the water from the kidney was able to diminish the fire and the metal that was coursing through her body nourished the earth from her spleen.
Liu Shi Shi glanced at him with bewilderment at what she had experienced.
She tried to take in another breath and tried to sense her organs in the stance she was in, to see if she could sense the new ’Qi’ she had in her dantian.
And she could feel her five organs differently after she took in a breath.
She blushed and tried to etch every moment that had passed when he touched onto her chest into memory.
Lin Xuan Qi was also surprised at how smoothly it went.
He had modified it to see if it could work on someone that wasn’t at Qi Concentration Level.
And it certainly intrigued him to try out the actual Dual Cultivation with Xue Cong and Yue Jie soon.
If he could get her up to speed like Lee He Song and Zhi Yong, there would be someone else to take care of the mansion if he was away.
But she wasn’t and she had seen enough surprises from him to know.
Lin Xuan Qi shook his head, glanced at her with a smirk and said, "I think the poems can wait until after we get married."
She grumbled to herself and glanced at him with a look of grievance.
Her mind went blank for a moment and she let him do what he wanted.
Xiu was outside of the study room and her voice sounded, "Master Lin, it’s time for dinner."
She nodded her head quietly and followed him out of the study room.
Dinner was a lavish spread of dishes that covered the table.
"Xuan Qi, have some of the ginseng chicken, you are so busy nowadays." Xue Cong said and picked up some of the ginseng chicken with her chopsticks for him.
"Thanks, don’t worry too much about me. I’m feeling better than ever." Lin Xuan Qi shrugged and took the ginseng chicken.
His vitality and energy level were many times more than a mortal could ever muster. Not even a martial arts fighter would be a match.
She knew that he was doing things for the betterment of the Lin Clan and she could only help in the ways she could.
Xue Cong knew what he meant and she quickly lowered her head to hide her flustered face.
"You too. I have a surprise for you as well." Lin Xuan Qi did the same, wrapping his other arm around Yue Jie’s waist and whispering into her ear.
Yue Xin saw their reactions and asked, "Is there something on the floor?"
