Chapter 944 - 462: Eternal King
"Don’t be too greedy! Inferior races! Spirit Casting Art transcends all magic in the world; it is the direct path to the way of Creation! Except for Shalem and Shahar, no one can master so many ways! The Dissolving Fluctuation is already enough for you to rise above countless mortals, becoming an existence second only to the gods!"
What Jenova said was indeed correct, even to Nebis now. If any caster has this move, as long as they are not overtaken by attacks far beyond their limits, they would be nearly invincible.
But in the Illusion Realm, Li Ang didn’t understand the concept of stopping while ahead.
"That move is my reliance, can I just tell you casually?"
"If you don’t say it..."
Jenova was about to threaten when Inanna stood up, her golden dragon pupils contracted into vertical lines, adopting a posture before a hunt.
Following the action of their sister, the other Dragon Gods and Dragon Ancestors all turned to look at the Marble Primordial Being. He opened his mouth, six arms clenched into fists, producing a creaking sound, but said no more.
He gritted his teeth, "Mortals can’t possibly research Spirit Casting Art, you must have stolen it from some Firstborn, I’ll just find him."
"Then you can slowly look for it, or go ask the omnipotent Eternal King." Li Ang laughed.
Jenova stood for a while, said bitterly, "Fine, there’s one more move, a reward granted to me by the King, which I have not yet mastered. Give me the Black Ball Technique."
Li Ang grinned, "Deal."
Jenova pulled Li Ang aside, setting up a sensory isolation barrier instead of using Spirit Casting Art, and explained the Spiritual Manipulation Technique in mysterious language.
Li Ang couldn’t quite understand it. Without a system, he would have indeed possibly missed out on the teachings of the Marble Divine Spirit. Either relying on heard fragments to fill in the whole.
[Hint: Acquired skill [Spirit Casting Art: Eye of Celestial Destiny]]
[Spirit Casting Art: Eye of Celestial Destiny]
[Activation Method: Spiritual Manipulation]
[From the Spiritual Level, apply a series of weakening spells aimed at the target’s own weaknesses; without an Absolutely Purified Body or a High tier Curse breaking Method, one cannot escape from the weakened state]
What does this move mean?
Li Ang was taken aback, this Spirit Casting Art seemed somewhat like Conceptual Magic, but even concept-level weakening spells weren’t as formidable as this [Eye of Celestial Destiny] was described.
Learning this move, Li Ang also told the Black Ball to Jenova. The latter immediately returned to his seat, pondering the casting, preparing to grasp it completely.
However, he didn’t have time to do anything before anomalies appeared on the horizon.
Though far away, everyone on the crystal seats could smell the fragrance.
It was a fragrance akin to ritual incense, refreshing the heart and simultaneously conveying a sense of divinity.
The time for incense burning has arrived, calling all existence to bow and prostrate, and welcome the majesty of true divine spirits.
Seemingly a voice, seemingly some sort of information, it surfaced in Li Ang’s mind before he could clearly sense it.
He took a few seconds to understand the situation; it was a kind of high-tier Spirit Casting Art, spreading and conveying messages on a huge scale from afar.
At the end of the sky, auspicious clouds rolled, divine light illuminated, and a carriage sprinted out from the unfathomable radiance.
Though it resembled a carriage, it was not pulled by horses but by two giant beasts. On the left was a fiery red giant lion adorned with gilt patterns like a statue, and on the right was a thick, dark brown bull with towering horns, its front half occupying seventy percent of its body, muscles as solid as rock.
Damn, that’s the World Destruction Six Punishments. Li Ang cursed inwardly.
"Were the World Destruction Six Punishments created by the Primordial Being, no, by the Eternal King?" Li Ang immediately asked Inanna.
They are regularly organized by the Sky Knight Guild’s Celestial Group into a formation to confront and crusade, but they have never been able to eliminate them, merely repelling the periodic attacks of Nebis, the six mysterious super-dimensional beasts initially believed unrelated, until realizations of connections through the research of the Thousand Tower City’s Great Mage, led to them being mentioned collectively and given the title of "World Destruction Six Punishments."
"No, but they did take shape because of him." Inanna said.
Li Ang fixed his eyes on the massive approaching forms of the "Awakened World-Lion" and the "Riftworld Bull," watching as four more giant beasts manifested within the radiance, guarding the carriage.
The "World Disturbing Vulture’s" wings served as a canopy, the "Calamity Flood Dragon" coiled around the carriage, the "Worldforging" guided divine light, and the "Eternal Coiling" trailed behind, leaving a luminous black trail like the cosmic sky.
Thanatos chimed in, "Those six beasts? It was the Eternal King who brought down the Starry Beast and transformed it into this form."
Akuya, always with a faint smile, kindly said to Li Ang, "You call them the World Destruction Six Punishments?"
Li Ang nodded, relaying to the Dragon Gods what the future generations would call these six super-dimensional beasts.
"Only the Eternal King can harness world-destroying beasts, Esso must have meant this," Brigitte said.
This Light Dragon God had never directly interacted with Li Ang; in the last illusion realm, he only saw her descend in dragon form.
Her dress and long eyelashes were all platinum in color, her whole form seemingly cast from light, adorned with multiple weapons, resembling an unassailable Valkyrie, yet amidst the sharpness, the warmth of the light fostered affinity, not overwhelming but exuding approachability.
The Light Dragon was dismissive of Esso’s demeanor.
The carriage, escorted by the World Destruction Six Punishments, flew swiftly, approaching steadily, while the music echoing in Li Ang’s mind seemed both real and ethereal.
The simple tune transmitted an elegant feeling, along with divine chants appearing simultaneously.
