Chapter 35 : Goblin Base Found!
Bai Yu decided to go take a look herself.
She realized her dark magic was actually pretty strong, so if Arthur and the goblin commander got stuck in a stalemate, she could still help out.
Actually, Bai Yu just couldn’t hold it anymore and wanted to go out for a look.
Undead vs goblins, a massive battle, Bai Yu definitely didn't want to miss it.
“What should I wear?”
Bai Yu was naked as she tossed around in front of the closet, struggling to come up with a decision.
Since she was clearing out goblins, it was going to be a fight, she had to dress up some more.
She couldn't just go in a little skirt.
Bai Yu picked out a white shirt and put it on at lightning speed.
She then tied a black bow at the collar.
Bai Yu sat by the bed.
Her two hands skillfully picked out a pair of black socks, she then slipped her small feet in and pulled them all the way up to her thighs, and she was changed.
Bai Yu had gotten more and more proficient.
After all, practice makes perfect.
For some reason, Bai Yu’s hands didn’t listen to what her brain wanted.
She ended up putting on a blue and white checkered pleated skirt.
Whatever.
She was just going to be a mage (rat) in the back anyway, no big deal.
Afterwards, Bai Yu tied her hair into a high ponytail with a small hair tie.
All done!
Bai Yu walked out of the castle, pushed open the gate, and just happened to see a skeleton soldier carrying wood into the yard.
"You!"
"Tell all the undead outside to spread the word and gather at the castle gate!"
The skeleton soldier put down the wood in his hand.
It looked puzzled for a moment after hearing Bai Yu's voice, then left the castle.
One spread to ten, ten spread to a hundred, a hundred spread to a thousand.
In less than twenty minutes, it had spread to all the undead, and soon they all gathered in front of the castle gates.
They didn’t really understand what Bai Yu meant by gather and just stood around outside the castle in a chaotic mess.
According to the little green bean, the goblin tribe was located in a cave beyond the swamp, south of Bai Yu’s territory.
As long as they left her territory and found that swamp to the south, the goblin tribe wouldn’t be far away.
Arthur also flew back and landed outside the castle.
"Arthur, do you still remember the place where you caught that goblin last time?"
Bai Yu looked up at Arthur and asked.
"Arthur remembers, your majesty."
"Nice. Then in a bit, Arthur you'll lead the way, bring the undead over there. Find the goblin tribe, and then go get them!"
Bai Yu was excited.
For the sake of a quick trip, Bai Yu could only endure the bumpy ride.
Bai Yu had Arthur lower its head, and she clumsily climbed onto Arthur’s back, sitting on the spine.
"Ow, my butt hurts!"
Bai Yu was wearing a skirt.
With her sitting like this, the edge of the skirt was lifted right up to the top of her thighs, almost exposing her black panties.
This won't work, what the fuck kind of sitting posture was this!
Bai Yu remembered that girls didn’t sit like this, right, they sat sideways!
On Arthur's back, Bai Yu struggled to twist her body and adjust her sitting position.
Rip~
The long black socks on her legs got torn by Arthur’s spine...
Bai Yu was speechless, whatever...
After a rough time adjusting, Bai Yu finally got her posture right.
Her legs were both on one side and she sat sideways on Arthur’s spine.
"This is way better~"
Although Bai Yu wasn’t afraid of heights, looking down from a height of five or six meters still made her a bit uneasy.
"Let’s go!"
Bai Yu sat on Arthur’s back, one hand gripping tightly onto Arthur’s spine.
The other was clenched into a fist and raised high.
Phew!
Arthur spread its wings, whipped up a fierce burst of wind on the ground, and took off.
"Ah!"
Bai Yu cried out in surprise.
The wind almost made her lose her grip.
Her little heart pounded wildly.
Bai Yu watched the castle get smaller and smaller in her sight, and the undead at the castle gate also shrank to the size of ants.
The gargoyles and specters below at the castle gate immediately flew up as well.
To be precise, the specters floated, while only the gargoyles and skeletal griffins actually flew.
As for the other undead, they could only run on the ground.
Among them, the undead knights and skeletal werewolves were the fastest, while the skeleton soldiers were the slowest.
Arthur, carrying Bai Yu, flew at the very front.
It didn't fly too high so as to not lose the undead below.
"Wow~"
Bai Yu was like a little kid discovering a new world and was overjoyed.
This was the first time Bai Yu had ever been away from the castle.
Bai Yu thoroughly took in the surroundings around her castle from high above.
If it weren't for the fog in the distance, she felt like she could even see that nearby lord.
Although flying gave her a wider view, the surrounding fog still blocked her from seeing too far.
She guessed that the fog was some kind of system protection for the lords.
Otherwise, there was no reason for such thick fog every day.
Other than the indescribable flying experience, Bai Yu didn't really have any complaints.
After flying a bit, Arthur would then circle back to wait for the undead below.
Bai Yu endured almost an hour on Arthur’s back like this.
The total distance they covered wasn't much, most of the time was spent waiting for the other undead.
With the moonlight, Bai Yu finally spotted a large swamp up ahead.
The gray mud and black soil formed a faint dividing line.
The swamp was bigger than she had imagined, it was even larger than the territory of her castle.
There were many thick, tall trees growing in the swamp, but with only a black trunk and no trace of green.
The whole swamp was not only huge but also had a very eerie atmosphere.
"This will be annoying. Such a huge swamp, the skeletons will have a difficult time going through it.
If they went around it, Bai Yu estimated it would waste at least an hour.
And by then, it would almost be dawn and the double drops could disappear any time.
She messed up, she should’ve scouted it out ahead of time.
But Bai Yu felt the problem probably wasn’t that big.
The undead had infinite stamina, and although they might move a bit slower in the swamp, they wouldn’t get stuck there, right?"
"Arthur, keep flying forward!"
Bai Yu wanted Arthur to go ahead and scout out the exact location of the goblin tribe first, to make their next moves easier.
"Arthur, fly higher, don’t let them spot you!"
Arthur gained altitude, flying directly above the clouds.
The dark clouds filled the surroundings, making it impossible to see anything.
Under Arthur's full speed flight, they took less than three minutes to fly out of this swamp, and then continued flying forward for another two minutes.
"Your majesty, Arthur seems to have spotted that cave you mentioned.
There's a group of goblins guarding around it."
Arthur's eyesight was naturally much better than Bai Yu's.
Bai Yu was barely able to keep her eyes open in the wind, let alone take the time to observe the situation below.
"Nice job Arthur.
Remember this spot.
We'll fly back to lead the little ones over and then wipe out their nest!"
Based on Arthur's flight speed, Bai Yu estimated the distance.
The undead would need about forty minutes to cross the swamp.
The swamp was wide but not too long.
