“What’re you talking about? I don’t get it, hehe”
Gabriel blinked playfully, putting on an innocent, harmless look that was undeniably cute.
“The blood of my niece—you took it, didn’t you?”
Lucifer extended his hand toward Gabriel, his face expressionless as he spoke to the seraph before him.
“Give it to me.”
“Hmm?”
Gabriel tilted her head in confusion, then made a gesture as if she suddenly understood.
She pulled out a test tube containing a small amount of crimson blood from under her skirt, grinning as she asked Lucifer.
“Is this what you’re talking about, meow?”
“Exactly.”
“Oh, no biggie! Our niece’s blood was gonna be destroyed anyway, right? Whether I burn it or you destroy it, it’s all the same, isn’t it?”
Gabriel giggled and spun around, raising the test tube with Iphilia’s blood high.
A cluster of golden-red sacred flames suddenly flared up, instantly vaporizing the blood along with the test tube.
“Tada~ It’s gone~”
“Sigh, you little rascal… Did Big Sis send you?”
Looking at the mischievous Gabriel, Lucifer let out a helpless sigh.
Though it was somewhat unexpected, his purpose for coming here was fulfilled.
Since he had nothing else to do, catching up with the seraph in front of him didn’t seem like a bad idea.
“Yup, yup~ Big Sis told me our little niece was having some troubles, so she sent me to help her sort things out. Oh, by the way, Lulu, where’s Typhon? I thought she’d be the one showing up. I even waited here for half a day, so disappointed~”
“Typhon, huh… Do you think he’d dare to casually leave Hell with Big Sis keeping an eye on the human world?”
“Huh? Why not? I thought they got along pretty well back then”
“Cough, kids don’t need to know so much about grown-up matters.”
Gabriel looked adorably puzzled, while Lucifer affectionately ruffled her hair.
The atmosphere between them was warm, like that of family members who hadn’t seen each other in years.
But if anyone could overhear their conversation or witness their actions, they’d likely be shocked to the point of mental collapse.

Gabriel squatted down, looking utterly dejected as she pitifully licked her lollipop.

She popped the lollipop into her mouth and clung to Lucifer’s leg like an octopus, giving him a pitiful, pleading look.
“Lulu, take me to Hell to play, pretty please? When we were acting back then, I flew too fast and didn’t even get a good look at what Hell’s like. Just take me for a quick tour, it won’t take long, I beg you”
“Huh!? No way! If Big Sis finds out, she’ll definitely come after me. Besides, unlike me, who achieved [Fallen Heaven] by accepting part of Typhon’s power, you’re a pure seraph. You wouldn’t like that godforsaken place.”
Hearing Gabriel’s outrageous idea, Lucifer’s face instantly darkened, and he rejected her without hesitation, his stance firm.
“Ugh~ Why not!? Fine, I kinda expected you’d say no… So sad…”
“If you’re really that bored, you could take this chance to spend a couple of days playing in the human world. I don’t think Big Sis would scold you too much for that.”

But her next words made Lucifer freeze.
“I can go play with our cute little niece, hehe”
“Wait, Gabriel, according to the original plan, Little Iphie’s wings aren’t fully developed yet. She can’t be exposed to the powers of High Heaven so soon!”
“Ehh—But, but… I’ve never even met my niece since she was born! I don’t even know what she looks like! She probably looks a lot like Typhon, right? Can’t I just see her for a tiny bit? Or maybe sneak up and give her a quick hug from behind when she’s not looking…”
“…Just hold off for now. If you really want to see what she looks like, I do have a few photos of her.”
With that, Lucifer pulled a small stack of photos from his pocket and handed them to Gabriel.
They were all of Iphilia: eating, practicing magic, playing with demonic beasts… even a few of her sleeping, hugging a stuffed toy and murmuring.
“Wow! Lulu, you’ve been secretly taking photos?”
“Not me. I swiped these from Typhon. Figured they might come in handy someday, so I kept them on me. Typhon’s got a whole stash of sneaky photos— he won’t notice if I take a couple.”
This was the honest truth. Typhon had a huge pile of secretly taken photos hidden under his throne.
If Little Iphie ever found out, she’d definitely give Typhon a good scolding.
“Oh, I see! Hehe, thanks, Lulu~ Wow, my niece is so adorable! I love her~ Here, Lulu, have this! It’s super yummy, as a thank-you!”
With that, Gabriel stood on her tiptoes and stuffed the half-eaten lollipop into Lucifer’s mouth.
“Bye-bye, Lulu! I’m off to have some fun~ Aimiya said there’s tons of yummy stuff in the human world, and I wanna try it all!”
Before Lucifer could react, Gabriel giggled and vanished into specks of light.
Left alone, Lucifer stared at the spot where she disappeared, slightly dazed.
“That girl…”
