If anything feels unreal, it was Gu Luoyu who thought life had become too perfect, from fighting alone, to fighting side by side, and now a family of three. It was like a beautiful dream.
Ever since being gravely injured and picked up by Ye Sheng, her life's path has changed. It was as if a pure angel had descended to heal her pain, making her life sweet.
But Gu Luoyu was certain, this wasn't a dream. It wouldn't vanish when she woke.
Ye Sheng will remain by her side, and together they'd weather all future storms.
"Hehe, looks like Ms. Gu really likes me, huh? So clingy?"
Delighted by Gu Luoyu's affection, Ye Sheng didn't pull her hand away. Instead, she flipped her palm and gently tickled Gu Luoyu's chin with her index finger, teasing her like a kitten.
This playful act made Gu Luoyu's eyes narrow slightly, not in rejection, but as she leaned in and kissed Ye Sheng instead.
Her voice is sweet and soft: “Of course I like you. I can never leave you, even in the next life, we'll be together. Nothing will ever separate us.”
Their foreheads touched gently, lingering after the kiss. Their eyes locked, intertwined in quiet intimacy.
The surroundings grew still as night fell. Their breathing became clearly audible, their heartbeats loud and synchronized, impossible to tell whose heart was racing more, or if both were pounding just the same.
Suddenly, meteors streaked rapidly across the night sky, appearing dreamlike and hazy under the glow of the red moon.
Finally, Ye Sheng couldn't hold back. Her dark eyes sparkled as she stared at Gu Luoyu, her lips involuntarily curling into a wide smile. She leaned in first, delivering another sweet kiss, suddenly feeling as if she'd been born just for Gu Luoyu.
