"Are you Marshal of Evil, Yin Tianjiao?" Lu Chengfeng stowed away his Golden Dragon, and the Three-Pointed Double-Edged Saber transformed into a stream of light and disappeared. Only the gourd hanging on his waist gleamed with a layer of red light, swaying with the wind.

"I don't dare claim the title of Marshal, little brother Yin Tianjiao greets the Venerate." Yin Tianjiao's three heads were badly bruised and battered, and all six of his arms had broken bones and torn tendons. His body was covered in bruises, pinned to the ground by the Red Dog who gave him a fierce beating.

Yet he wore a shameless grin as he approached Lu Chengfeng and said, "I have no relationship with Cyan Nether Celestial Venerable. It was the White Tiger Divine Venerate who contacted my old man, claiming that you, Venerate, had sullied Cyan Nether Celestial Venerable's reputation. If word got out, it would embarrass the Empress and they wanted my old man to act."

"That's why my old man sent me out here. He knows I'm a good-for-nothing, who doesn't understand fighting or killing, basically just sent me to put on a show."

Yin Tianjiao resembled a lackey, with none of his previous pride and dignity, like a fawning coward.

Lu Chengfeng couldn't believe the son of a Taoist Master of Central State would behave in such a manner. Seeing this guy sporting bruises all over his face amused him, so he laughed and said, "Well then, I guess this means we met through rivalry. From now on, I'll be your elder brother, and you will be my younger brother."

Yin Tianjiao quickly seized the opportunity, "Elder brother, I bow to you."

The Red Dog watched these two who were recently foes now acting like brothers, and he found it quite perplexing. He was straightforward, always preferring action over talk, and disapproved of their behavior. With a cold snort, he disappeared back into Lu Chengfeng's shadow.

Noticing Red Dog's departure, Yin Tianjiao breathed a sigh of relief, and suddenly the full extent of his aches and pains overwhelmed him. He grimaced in pain.

Seeing his reaction, Lu Chengfeng couldn't help but shake his head and chuckle, knowing that children of affluent families often valued their reputations above all else. If their dignity was tarnished, they felt as if the world was ending and wanted to retaliate with all their resources and power.

But this guy here could let go of his dignity, showing a rather careless demeanor. Others might laugh at him for being unambitious, but Lu Chengfeng perceived him as deeply scheming and steadfast, not to mention his influential family background made him a formidable figure not to be underestimated.

"Younger brother, since we're brothers now, allow me to speak frankly," Lu Chengfeng said seriously. "When I first entered the Celestial Court, I was met with hostility, and was immediately labeled with numerous accusations. Seems there's a plot to take me down."

"Younger brother, could you tell me who is orchestrating this? Is it the White Tiger Divine Venerate?"

Yin Tianjiao coughed a couple of times, his expression shifting slightly as he said, "Elder brother, you might not know, but the White Tiger Divine Venerate, she's a woman."

"What?" Lu Chengfeng was dumbfounded. He thought White Tiger Divine Venerate sending the Giant Spirit God and involving the Taoist Master of Central State was due to him being a rival in love, but he hadn't imagined she was a woman.

Yin Tianjiao's three heads looked around furtively, as if fearing others might hear, and he hesitated as he said, "White Tiger Divine Venerate, she... ahem, might have different interests, pursuing Cyan Nether Venerate many years ago..."

Lu Chengfeng instantly understood, realizing it was this sort of rivalry, they could have said so earlier, worst case they could have just teamed up...

He felt utterly speechless, being treated as a romantic rival by a woman had led to this disaster.

"However, elder brother, although White Tiger Divine Venerate has acted from behind the scenes, your entry into the Divine Court drew the attention of the gods due to someone else," Yin Tianjiao said cautiously.

"Who?" Lu Chengfeng raised an eyebrow inquiringly.

"It's..." Yin Tianjiao hadn't finished speaking when a breeze blew past their ears, and a voice dripped with hints of laughter sounded, "Little Tianjiao, is your hide itching? Need me to ease your bones?"

Yin Tianjiao's face instantly turned green, all six hands covered his three mouths, and he spun around and fled.

Lu Chengfeng was stunned, he hadn't detected any movement. He quickly chased after him, calling, "Younger brother, why are you running? Explain what you meant, who exactly is plotting against me?"

"Elder brother, I beg you, please don't chase me. I know nothing, I know nothing," Yin Tianjiao acted like his tail was on fire, using escape tactics to flee desperately.

Lu Chengfeng frowned, puzzled by Yin Tianjiao's sudden change as if he had become a different person. But he soon realized something, growing thoughtful.

"Could it be he's been threatened?"

"To think that the son of a Taoist Master of Central State is scared to the point of fleeing in terror must mean that person is not simple, definitely not just some second-generation figure but a high-ranking individual within the Celestial Court."

"Even the Taoist Master of Central State wouldn't want to cross them."

With that in mind, Lu Chengfeng shouted towards Yin Tianjiao, "Younger brother, if you keep running, I'll have no choice but to approach White Tiger Divine Venerate, saying it was you who informed me that the Venerate is plotting against me."

Yin Tianjiao's face turned even greener, "Elder brother, my dear elder brother, you can't say things carelessly, this could actually lead to death..."

White Tiger Divine Venerate donned a silver battle armor, which struggled to conceal her ample bosom. Her long, sleek legs emerged from the battle skirt, smooth, white, elegantly shaped, like ivory, flawless.

This battle armor seemingly provided no defense power, instead showcasing the alluring curves of this woman's body and the striking, smooth, and slender ivory-like legs completely.
