Violet smiled as she looked at the quest screen that flashed into her vision, it had been a long day.
She and Luna had managed to pursuade the various beasts to either rest in the open field for the day or to return to whence they came from.
The beasts didn’t need a lot of encouragement to leave. Whilst their numbers had been drastically culled through the battle, it was still an impressive sight when every beast present turned to face violet at her words. Then in staggered symphony they all lowered their heads in a display of respect towards the Wild Dragon.
But like the beasts they were that was all they did before turning around and making their way back out into the forest beyond.
From there the King made sure that the dragons would have a place to spend the night whilst the refugees that Violet and Luna had brought with them would be brought into the city.
Then Violet, Luna, Rhyana, Susan, Olivia and Vithrax were all invited to the palace in the center of the city to spend the night.
Our companions had food delivered to their rooms, they had just finished eating when that notification popped up. She swiped it away only to be greeted by another system screen.

Then Violet decided to pull up her status screen and check out the gains of the past couple of weeks, comparing how they changed from the last time she had looked, she was pleasantly surprised at the progress she had made.

With those last 5 free levels she had managed to push herself right to the limit of tier 4 at level 150. She was only a single step away from entering tier 5, all she needed to do now was solidify a domain.
Yet curiously enough she felt like she could initiate the process of evolving if she really wanted.
Their was no set notification telling her that she was eligible for it, more so that she felt like she could make that final push almost at will which was quite curious since Violet felt like she was still a step away from creating a true domain.
Maybe she was further along with it than she had initially believed?
In actuality she had already met the conditions for evolving into tier 5. Their were a couple of conditions that needed to be met, to be specific someone needed to at minimum reach level 150 and have developed a pseudo domain.
Yet they were not the only aspects that bolstered once ability to reach the next tier, certain achievements or feats could be achieved to provide a boost to ones chance of successfully evolving and forming a domain.
One was having defeated a being in tier 5 already, Violet and Luna had participated in the defeat of 3 such beings so far which was a great boon.
This was due to the simple fact that they had been directly opposed to a domain on multiple occasions. They had felt the suppression of a domain and had actively fought to counter it with their current abilities.
In fact Luna was actually in a better place with this aspect that Violet, given that she had directly challenged the shield sovereign with her own pseudo domain.
Speaking of Luna, she too had reached level 150 and happily shared her status with Violet.

Together they both now had 3 skill upgrade tokens to utilise, providing them with some great chances to upgrade and develope their skill sets in preparation to evolve.
Then their was their new skill that both girls had gained.
Call of the Wilds was quite the interesting skill. It was effectively a command skill, by utilising it the girls would be able to basically command any being that held an affinity to the Wilds.
Now it was nothing so blatant as mind control and could easily be rejected, particularly by beings that are stronger than themselves. That being the case what it actually did was confluence the being the skill was used on to hold them in higher regard than they may normally do.
To the point that otherwise hostile beings may be more willing to actually listen to whatever request the girls had.
Although it was still dependant on the intelligence of the being used on.
Thinking of that Violet remembered the idiotic birds she had encountered in their journey here and snorted in amusement as she imagined the skill entirely failing on those beasts due to shear stupidity.
Still the ability would be usefull when dealing with beasts when they didn’t want to fight or in similar situations as recently when they needed to recruit the aid of nearby beasts.
All in all both Violet and Luna were quite happy with the gains from that battle and the arduous journey to Syan.
It had been quite the journey, but had been well worth the effort.
With the two companions content with their current gains and not having the mental energy left to decide on spending any of their skill upgrade tokens. They instead opted to retreat to bed for the night.
They had been set up in quite the opulent room. From the hallway they had a large greeting room with fine artwork adorning the walls and a comfortable set of couches in the centre with a low wooden table in between them.
The back wall held a large window that overlooked what would usually be a truly impressive looking garden, if it weren’t for the particularly large crater in the middle of it from a boulder that had somehow managed to fall into the palace gardens.
To either side of the entry room were two doorways. Both of which led to separate bedrooms, each one as opulent as the other.
They had randomly chosen the room on the left. Entering into their bedroom for the night they were greeted by a large window with access to a balcony, a large vamity on one side and a grand 4 poster bed against the back wall. Off to the other side a secondary door lay which led to an ensuit bathroom which housed a massive bath.
It easily surpassed the fancy room they had stayed in when they had been within Sonantis, which was no real surprise considering that this was a palace and not a hotel.
The girls opted to ignore the bath for now and instead simply crawled into bed with a tired groan as the last of their energy left them for the day.
They hid themselves under the covers, moving together and wrapping each other up in their arms.
As Luna almost immediately closed her eyes and began drifting off the sleep, Violet leant towards her and planted a gentle kiss on her companions lips, smiling as she watch Luna’s relaxed face smile, before she too closed her own eyes and drifted off to sleep.
