"SUNBAE-NIM, can I touch your face?"
Wonyoung couldn’t help but ask because looking at Yun Dujun’s pitiful (yet still very handsome) face gave him cute aggression.
I just want to ’crumple’ his face to make sure he’s real.
"You’ve already touched every nook and cranny of my body, Hoobae-nim. Don’t you think it’s too late to ask that question now?"
"You can be so annoying sometimes, Sunbae-nim."
"Maybe I’ll stop annoying you if you start calling me ’hyung’ instead of ’sunbae-nim.’"
"I’m not that easy, Sunbae-nim," Wonyoung lied with a straight face. "I just don’t call anyone ’hyung.’ You have to make me open up my heart to you first."
"I made you open something else for me, though."
"What?"
"Your legs?"
Wonyoung’s face immediately flushed, of course.
He was embarrassed by Yun Dujun’s dirty joke, but he wasn’t offended. After all, he knew that the Alpha was only joking.
Having said that, he still grabbed a throw pillow and hit Yun Dujun’s face with it.
Thankfully, the Alpha just laughed it off.
"I’m sorry, Hoobae-nim," Yun Dujun said when he removed the pillow from his face, still smiling widely. "I’m just teasing you."

But, now, he didn’t know what to do with the kid.
I really don’t want to spend time with him alone, so I should just ditch him here.
"We’re here," An Baekya said when they arrived in front of Yun Yuhyun’s room. "Rest there or something. I’m sure Appa and Abeoji will call us later once they’re done talking."
More like ’flirting.’
"An Baekya, I don’t know what you’re doing, but you can’t keep me away from my daddy forever," Yun Yuhyun said, crossing his arms over his chest. And then the brat even smiled smugly. "Do you know that Daddy and I have a date tonight? Just the two of us."
"Ah, is that so? Congrats, then. You finally got the attention you want from your father."
"What’s with that reaction?"
"How am I supposed to react?"
"You’re supposed to envy me!"

Well, Yun Yuhyun was still a kid in this timeline.
"I like our Appa better than our Abeoji," An Baekya said, turning his back on Yun Yuhyun. "You can have your father all to yourself, kid— I don’t fucking care."
"Yah, you said a bad word!"
"Yeah? Big deal," An Baekya said, looking over his shoulder to smirk at Yun Yuhyun. "Are you going to tattle on our parents? If you do, you’re a snitch. But I bet you don’t even know what a ’snitch’ is."
Yun Yuhyun’s face turned red as if he were embarrassed. "I don’t know what a ’snitch’ is, but I’m not like that!"

"BAEKYA, will you really be alright alone here tonight?" Wonyoung asked worriedly. "I have a part-time job while Dujun Sunbae-nim and Yuhyun are going out. If I could, I would bring you to my part-time job. But I’m not allowed to do that since it’s a private event."
"Appa, I’ll be fine on my own," An Baekya assured him. "Plus, it’s not like I’m going to be completely alone. The household staff members are here to look after me."
"Tell me if anyone acts rude to you while we’re gone."
"Of course, Appa. I’m not a pushover who’ll let adults bully me. Not anymore."
"Very good," Wonyoung said, gently patting An Baekya’s head. "I’ll buy you something delicious after I get paid."
An Baekya’s face beamed. "Prawns sound delicious, Appa."
"Prawns it is, then."
"Thank you in advance, Appa," An Baekya said, smiling. "Good luck with your part-time job."
"Yes, thank you."
After Wonyoung said goodbye to An Baekya, he quietly left the kid’s bedroom.
To his surprise, Yun Dujun was already waiting for him in the hallway.
"I’ll drive you to your workplace."
"You don’t have to, Sunbae-nim," Wonyoung said while shaking his head. "You still need to prepare for your date with Yuhyun, don’t you?"
"I still have time."
Haaah.
Alphas can really be stubborn sometimes.
"Then you can just drop me off at the nearest bus station."
To be honest, Wonyoung needed a ride since it was tricky to call a taxi there.
The security in this village is really strict, after all.
"You just don’t want me to know where you’re working tonight, do you?"

"I’m not," Yun Dujun denied, even though he was slightly pouting. "But why do you not want me to know where you’ll be working tonight?"

Yun Dujun let out a sigh while shaking his head. "It’s so hard to make you open up your heart to me, Hoobae-nim."

THE PRIVATE event turned out to be bigger than Wonyoung’s expectations.
He had to sign an NDA and give his phone to the person in charge before finally entering Sola Land— one of the biggest amusement parks in South Korea.
Yeah, he would be working there tonight.
Actually, it was already midnight.
The amusement park was supposed to be closed already, but someone big shot had rented the amusement park for their personal use.
Hence, part-timers like Wonyoung were hired to entertain the VVVIP guests.
And his role?
"Everyone, I want you to dance like your life depends on it!"

That was what Mr. Choi, the amusement park’s supervisor, said after their three-hour rehearsals.

"You did well during your rehearsals earlier!" Mr. Choi said, still raising his voice, even though he wasn’t really angry. It seemed like it was the nerves taking over. "I like your energy! Keep it up! Dance like there’s no tomorrow!"
"Yes, sir!" Wonyoung answered cheerfully. "I’ll dance if it’s the last thing I do!"
"That’s it— that’s the energy we need!" Mr. Choi said, clapping his hands. "Everyone, be like Mr. Red Pawnda and give it your all!"
This time, Wonyoung’s fellow actors answered at the same time.
"Yes, sir!"

Wonyoung, who was already in position and was just waiting for the gates to open, nodded at what Kim Minseok said.

Kim Minseok was one of the cast members playing the role of a human friend to the animals that ruled the Sola Land.
