Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 506: Pregnancy Speedrun Activated

Garion guided Rachel back to the bed, keeping a steady hand on her shoulder.

She was still unsteady after vomiting, her weight leaning into him more than usual.

He moved carefully, matching her pace, making sure she didn’t lose her balance.

When they reached the bed, he eased her down to sit. "Easy," he said, his voice low. "Don’t push yourself."

Rachel frowned, sluggish and pale, one hand pressed to her stomach. "I know," she muttered. "I just feel awful."

Garion adjusted the pillow behind her, making sure it supported her properly before helping her lie back.

He moved with quiet efficiency, focused on keeping her comfortable. "Then don’t think about anything right now. Just rest."

She didn’t argue. That alone told him how bad she felt. Rachel shifted onto her back, her body loosening as she settled in.

"Alright," she said softly. "Just for a bit."

Garion pulled the blanket over her, tucking it in without fuss.

He paused for a moment, watching her face to make sure she wasn’t about to get sick again.

"Get some sleep," he added. "You’ll feel better after."

Rachel gave a faint nod, her eyes already closing. Within seconds, her breathing evened out, and she was in deep sleep.

Garion remained beside the bed, watching her for a moment longer to make sure she wouldn’t stir again.

Only when he was certain did he lift his gaze, his expression tightening. "Atlas... what the hell happened?"

[What do you mean? Isn’t it obvious? She is pregnant.]

Garion clicked his tongue, irritation rising. "I know that. But how is it this fast?"

He raised a hand, counting on his fingers as if trying to ground his thoughts. "From what I know, the stomach doesn’t start showing until three or four months."

He gestured toward Rachel, his frustration building. "But it’s already visible now. It’s only been a day."

[...I forgot to mention something.]

Garion’s expression dropped. "The hell did you forget now?"

[In addition to 100% conception... fast pregnancy was also activated.]

His eyes widened. "What the hell is that supposed to mean? You’re saying her pregnancy is shortened?"

[Correct.]

Garion’s frown deepened, his jaw tightening. "Then why didn’t you say that from the start? Are you a system or a bird? You keep forgetting things."

[Sorry about that. I just forgot.]

He dragged a hand down his face, clearly annoyed, trying to steady himself. "Then how fast is it? How long until the baby is born?"

[Wait, let me check... It’s approximately one week.]

Garion froze. "...What?"

He stared ahead, trying to process it. "A week? How is that even possible?"

[I don’t know. I’m not the one who made it. A higher being did. But isn’t this good?]

[It fastens your mission. You need to meet your child and obtain the method to convert normal mana into divine mana.]

Garion’s jaw tightened further. "That’s not the point."

He glanced back at Rachel, his expression softening despite the tension in his voice.

"She’s my wife. I’m worried about her. Will her body even handle this?"

[You worry too much, host. She is your wife and a cultivator of the God Physique path. Her body is far stronger than a normal person’s.]

[And do not forget her unique physique. The more love she gives or receives, the stronger she and those around her become.]

[There is no scenario where she rejects her child. The more she cares for it, the more her body will be reinforced.]

[So stop overthinking.]

Garion frowned, unconvinced. "Even so... this is too sudden. I’m just worried about her."

[I understand, host. But right now, the only thing you can do is ensure she gets through this week safely.]

Garion let out a long breath, his shoulders easing slightly as he looked back at Rachel.

She slept quietly, unaware of everything unfolding around her.

He nodded to himself, resolve settling in. "Alright then, Rachel... I’ll make sure you have the best week possible."

[Good. I’ll see you in a week.]

---

The training hall felt off. It was already midday, yet Elder Rachel still hadn’t arrived. The disciples had already finished several sets on their own.

Clara dropped onto a bench and wiped the sweat from her brow. "Something’s wrong. Why hasn’t she shown up yet?"

Valtor stretched his leg and leaned back. "Haha... maybe she finally decided to give us a break."

Seira, standing nearby, adjusted her posture. "That’s unlikely. She’s never done that before."

Clara nodded. "Yeah... exactly. So where is she, then?"

Dahlia, who had been lifting, suddenly let the bar drop with a dull thud. "Tch... don’t you get it? It must be that."

Clara’s eyes widened as she caught on. "But didn’t she just did it last week with Master?"

Dahlia clicked her tongue. "What do you know? You think that’s enough for her? She’ll go right back at it. She’s probably busy again."

She clenched her fist, irritation rising. "And she’s forgotten about training us."

Valtor burst out laughing. "Haha, of course. Master keeping Rachel satisfied. Works out for us too, the training’s lighter."

Dahlia crossed her arms, more annoyed than before. "Damn it. I shouldn’t have let her marry Master in the first place."

Clara looked at her and sighed. "You’re definitely jealous."

Dahlia shot her a glare. "Say that again."

Clara lifted her hands in surrender. "Relax. Didn’t you just make up with her?"

Dahlia snorted. "Hmph."

Clara let out another breath and glanced at the others. "So, what do we do now, then?"

Dahlia didn’t hesitate. "We train. It’s the only thing we can do."

She stepped forward, rolling her shoulders. "Waiting won’t make her come."

Rynar, still seated, raised a hand. "...Yeah, but we don’t have to push ourselves like yesterday, right?"

Rynor nodded beside him. "Yeah. Of course. Mother isn’t here to scold us."

Clara looked at all of them and sighed. "Fine... but for now, let’s go to the restaurant. I’m starving."

Dahlia exhaled once, then waved a hand. "Fine. Let’s go."

They headed toward the restaurant together, but the moment they stepped inside, they froze in shock.
