It was larger than a human heart—maybe the size of a small melon, with a dark blue-gray coloration and visible ventricles that still seemed to pulse slightly despite the creature being dead.

The surface glistened with residual moisture, and faint traces of Astra energy emanated from it in slow waves.

Levi placed the tablet flat on the floor next to the Abyssal Eel heart. Then, speaking clearly both aloud and mentally to ensure the command registered properly: "Absolute Refinement Tablet, activate Quality Perfection ability. Target: Abyssal Eel Heart. Enhance quality grade to maximum possible level."

For a moment, nothing happened.

The tablet sat motionless on the floor, looking exactly like an ordinary piece of carved stone. The beast heart beside it continued its faint pulsing, unchanged.

Then the tablet began to glow.

Faint at first—just a subtle luminescence emanating from the gray stone's surface—but rapidly intensifying. Within seconds, the entire tablet was radiating brilliant white light that filled the training chamber, casting sharp shadows against the walls.

The tablet lifted off the floor.

It rose slowly, hovering about three feet in the air, rotating clockwise with increasing speed. Faster and faster until it became a blur of spinning stone and light, creating a low humming sound that resonated in Levi's bones.

Then something emerged from the spinning tablet.

A thread. Impossibly thin, barely visible even with the bright light surrounding it. The thread was gray—the exact same color as the tablet itself—and it moved with purpose, extending outward like a living thing seeking its target.

The thread touched the Abyssal Eel heart.
