Chapter 853: On Qi Destiny
That night, Chen Changsheng sat in his room, studying the Divine Abilities method of Suspended Fortune.
Notably, this method was nowhere near as useless as Mister Zhong had claimed. On the contrary, the principles and records it contained were exceptionally profound.
Most cultivators in this world possessed only a superficial understanding of qi destiny.
The difference between Magical Power and qi destiny was like the difference between the physical body and the mind. The former could be sought, while the latter was esoteric and difficult to comprehend.
Yet the creator of this method had forged an entirely different path. They had treated qi destiny as a method of Cultivation, storing it within the Dantian to control and seize fortune, transforming something esoteric into a power that could be actively pursued.
It was truly impressive.
For Chen Changsheng, anything he could not accomplish himself naturally warranted being called impressive.
He certainly could not have created such a method out of thin air. Chen Changsheng knew his own limits; though he was immortal, his experience and Dao Cultivation were shallow. Compared to a true cultivator, he was lacking by more than just a little.
It was only because a predecessor had already laid the groundwork that he dared to attempt it.
