Chapter 598: The Personal Disciple of the Sect Master
After all, such a high-class Immortal Mountain had great dignity.
But in the end, it all depended on the people; if it were just anyone coming, why would they have such an attitude?
Patriarch Yun looked at the disciple who was guiding them—a personal disciple of the Xuanjiu Immortal Mountain’s Sect Master. In his view, the Sect Master probably had the intention to come down the mountain himself to greet them. However, because there were too many people on the mountain today, it might cause talk if word got out, so he sent the disciple instead. This way, it was polite and didn’t give others a reason to gossip.
These matters were a bit complicated to explain, but such things happened everywhere.
Xiao Dongxu guided Chen Changsheng and Patriarch Yun up the mountain.
Along the way, he also introduced the various halls of Xuanjiu Immortal Mountain to the two of them.
“This is Xuanjiu Hall. Usually, when there’s something big, Master and the Elders discuss it here.”
“To the left of Xuanjiu Hall is the Formation Array Pavilion, to the right is the Talisman Pavilion, and behind it is the Library Pavilion. Also…”
Xuanjiu Immortal Mountain truly lived up to its reputation as a top Immortal Mountain in the Cultivation World. Its halls were especially complete, and the disciples here weren’t just focused on Talismans and Formation Arrays. Pill-making and forging were quite popular too. Talismans and Formation Arrays were the main focus, but the other paths were also very well-rounded.
