Su Qinglan smiled. "We already have our house now. There is no need to wait. We should start making some furniture for it."

She remembered the booklet the system had given her earlier. It contained all the details about making simple materials and furniture from bamboo and wood.

The methods were easy and suitable for the beast world. She had not looked at it carefully for a long time.

"I should take it out and review it properly," she thought.

Su Qinglan found a quiet spot near their newly built stone house. She sat down on a flat stone and took out the booklet from her storage space. She opened it slowly and began to read the pages one by one.

The booklet showed clear steps for making basic furniture. There were instructions for simple beds, tables, chairs, cabinets, and even small storage boxes.

It explained how to choose good bamboo and wood, how to cut and shape them without advanced tools, and how to join the pieces together using vines and natural glue.

She flipped through the pages carefully. "This looks useful," she murmured.

"We can start with beds first. The stone floor is too hard and cold for sleeping. A raised wooden bed would be much more comfortable."

She continued reading. There were also ideas for making low tables for eating and small stools for sitting. Some designs even included simple shelves for storing food and clothes.

Su Qinglan felt excited as she reviewed the booklet. "Once the roof is finished, we can move inside and start furnishing the house. The beastmen can help cut the wood and bamboo. I will guide them on how to assemble everything."

Shi Feng had already left after dropping her off. He had gone to find Xuan Long. Su Qinglan soon realized that, aside from Xuan Long, An Mo was also nowhere to be seen.

Su Qinglan rubbed his head. "Okay, let’s go back to our house in the center. We will cook something."

She turned to Hu Yan. "Hu Yan, come with us. The kids are hungry. We can cook together and talk about the furniture."

Hu Yan smiled and walked over. "Sure. What do you want to eat?"

They started walking back together. The cubs followed, sometimes running a few steps ahead.

On the way, Su Qinglan said, "Once the stone houses are finished, we should make some furniture. I have many ways to make beds and tables from bamboo and wood."

Hu Yan nodded. "Good idea. The floor is too hard to sleep on. Beds would be nice. What should we start with?"

"Beds first," Su Qinglan replied. "Then maybe a low table to eat on."

Hu Yan chuckled softly. "I will help cut the wood. Just tell me what you need."

When they reached the house, Su Qinglan began cooking meat and vegetables. Hu Yan helped her wash and cut everything. The cubs sat close by, watching with big eyes.

The food started to smell good. Xiao Er sniffed the air and asked, "Is it ready yet?"

"Almost," Su Qinglan said with a laugh. "Be patient, little ones."

Soon the meal was done. They all sat down and ate together and packed the remaining food for Han Jue. The cubs ate happily and got food on their faces.

After eating, Su Qinglan wiped their mouths. "We can rest a little. Later we will go check the houses again."

Hu Yan leaned back and looked at her. "You have been working hard. Do not push yourself too much. I can help more with the furniture plans."

Su Qinglan smiled at him. "Thanks. There is not much for me to do right now, so I can take time to plan everything properly."

They stayed together in the house for a while.

Cradling her three cubs close, Su Qinglan drifted into a peaceful nap, while Hu Yan watched over the slumbering mother and cubs with a gentle gaze.
