The cold wind howled through the crevices of the mountains.

Piercing cold accompanied by tiny snowflakes brushed against the cheeks of the hunters in the Hunting Team.

Luo De stood at the cave entrance, staring at the pitch-black hole before him.

"Saint Master, my Hawk saw it go inside with his own eyes."

Tucson from the Eagle Feather Race quickly walked to Luo De’s side and reported in a lowered voice,

"I’ve been watching the area for a whole month, only now did it come out to hunt."

"I think it should have finished eating now and is asleep in the cave."

Tucson’s eyes showed fatigue, clearly, a month of tracking had drained a lot of his energy.

Over a month ago, an old hunter who went into the mountains spotted a giant shadow soaring across the sky.

The old Hunter had never seen a bipedal Flying Dragon, but he knew a beast of several meters long was definitely not ordinary.

The kind of fear that seeped into his bones made him collapse on the spot.

When he finally managed to get up and ran back to the village, he immediately reported the news to the nearest Apprentice Council.

Because of the Great Lord of Nature entry, Luo De had long issued orders requiring all members of the Advisory Council to closely monitor the magical beasts and mineral veins around.

Any anomalies must be reported immediately without the slightest delay.

Thus, upon hearing the news given by the old Hunter, the Council wasted no time in reporting the intelligence.

Then Tucson took his Hawk, joined the Hunting Team, and entered the mountains to search, until this morning they finally made a discovery.

It was indeed the legendary bipedal Flying Dragon.

"Yes, bipedal Flying Dragons tend to extend their sleep during winter."

Luo De nodded slightly, scanning the surroundings of the cave with his eyes,

"Have you searched for other exits nearby?"

Luo De cautiously inquired.

"Before you came, my Hawk searched the area three times without finding any other exits."

Tucson answered firmly.

"Good."

Luo De took out a whistle and blew it, then waved toward the sky.

As a whistling sound echoed, two enormous figures dived from the clouds.

Their wings stirred the air, whipping up the snow on the ground, causing swirling snow mist.

"Your kin is inside."

Luo De raised his hand, pointing toward the cave, "Call it out."

Thunder and Frost exchanged a glance, then simultaneously turned and opened their dragon mouths toward the cave entrance.

"Roar!"

A deep roar instantly resounded through the entire valley, faint dragon intimidation spread, causing the surrounding hunting team members to involuntarily step back and evade.

Luo De stood indifferently in place, raising his hand after feeling it was enough,

"Enough."

The dragon’s roar abruptly halted, and the valley fell back into silence.

The cave was equally still, with no sound emanating from it.

Not even a faint echo, as if no creature existed within.

"Braver than imagined."

Luo De gazed at the dark cave and slowly evaluated.

If indeed a bipedal Flying Dragon existed within, hearing the roar from its own kind would have definitely woken it up.

Remaining silent, not daring to respond, could only mean one thing.

It was intimidated by the aura of Frost and Thunder, not daring to act rashly.

"Throw some torches inside."

As soon as Luo De finished speaking, the captain of the Hunting Team immediately lit the prepared torches.

A few team members walked to the edge of the cave and forcefully threw the torches they held inside.

Flames traced bright arcs in the darkness, with a snap, landing within the cave, illuminating a small area.

No discoveries were made.

"Seems pretty deep."

Luo De waved his hand, "Let’s go, and take a look inside."

"Yes, my Lord."

The hunting team was about to get up, when Luo De extended his hand to stop them.

"Frost, you go first to scout." Luo De commanded.

The width of the cave allowed only one dragon to enter.

Frost slightly swung its dragon head, opened its mouth towards the cave.

"Wait, keep it alive!"

Feeling the energy fluctuation, Luo De noticed Frost’s intention and quickly stopped loudly.

He hurried to stand in front of Frost, raised his hand, and pressed it against its cold scales.

"If you spew an icy breath into the cave, the bipedal Flying Dragon inside will be utterly doomed."

The bipedal Flying Dragon’s scales could withstand the slashing of ordinary swords and knives, but its magic resistance was nearly zero.

Annoyed yet compliant, Frost stepped into the cave.

Each member of the Hunting Team carried a torch, closely following after Frost.

The flickering firelight dispelled the darkness, casting mottled shadows on the stone walls.

The cave was extraordinarily quiet, with only Luo De and the hunters’ faint footsteps.

The team members followed closely, their footsteps resonating in the cave.

After hiking a short distance, a stench of excrement permeated the air.

This familiar smell confirmed to Luo De that this was indeed the bipedal Flying Dragon’s lair.

It was the same smell as the cave where earlier bipedal Flying Dragons were slain, the area where Frost and Thunder had lived was also this scent.

"Something’s not right..."

Luo De abruptly stopped, furrowing his brows.

He sniffed the foul air, his expression growing solemn.

There was no bloody smell.

Had the bipedal Flying Dragon carried prey in to dine, there should have been a bloody scent.

"You are sure you saw it holding prey flying in this morning?"

Luo De turned to fix his gaze on Tucson and asked.

"Saw it with my own eyes, Saint Master." Tucson said with unwavering tone.

Luo De furrowed his brows, an ominous feeling stirring in his heart,

"Frost, speed up."

Luo De urged in a deep voice.

Frost seemed to sense something was amiss too and swiftly rushed deeper into the cave.

"Roar..."

Shortly, at the very front, Frost emitted a mournful cry.
