Chapter 1704: Blood for Blood
As a large-sized world civilization, the Grand Apocalypse World’s powerhouses possessed genuine combat prowess.
Unlike certain law-wielding creatures from weak medium-sized or low-level planes, who lost their nerve before a battle even began, these natives of the Grand Apocalypse World dared to charge headlong, even when they knew their strength fell short of Sein and his allies.
Leading the charge toward Sein was a Rank Five Grand Apocalypse World creature wielding an energy blade.
After prolonged combat with the Gallant Federation, one would notice that whether it was the federation’s giant mobile suit pilots or the fighters of its vassal civilizations, many wielded technological weapons such as lightsabers and energy blades.
There was a simple reason for this—the lightsabers produced by the Gallant Federation were genuinely easy to wield.
Take the Rank Five razor creature before them as an example. The blades forged by the Grand Apocalypse World did not necessarily offer better value than the lightsabers supplied by the Gallant Federation.
It was much the same as how the foreign deities of the Magus Alliance were all remarkably enthusiastic about acquiring magic artifacts crafted by Magus World mages.
Did those foreign deities truly enjoy handing over money to Magus World mages for no reason?
Of course not. The answer came down to one undeniable fact: quality!
The Magus Civilization’s ability to siphon resources across the alliance through the magicoin system was not without justification.
Some alliance creatures might choose to opt out, but doing so meant their weapons and equipment would inevitably lag behind those of others.
Beyond that, the Magus Civilization had plenty of ways to forcibly pry open markets on allied planes unwilling to cooperate.
